Hey guys, a few of us might come out but just wanted to be sure on what touring classes will be run. We are interested in running 17.5 rubber and mod rubber. Please let us know thanks.

Dwayne, any seats left for that trip? LMK I'd kind of like to go too but no one here is up for the trip.

If you are in I can make room. Let me know.

I think OGR should repost the rules for all classes. It is getting confusing ?? TC rubber mod? what happen to foam? Thanks!

I second that

Also, I do remember some rule out there about not running Stock and Mod in the same class...its dated, but i think somewhat relevant. Seems we are about to eliminate the 19t class all together to allow people who want to run "Stock Rubber" a second class to run, "Mod Rubber". Personally, if you want to (good enough to) run mod, you should stay out of Stock...where do the intermediate drivers go if they want to really be racing for the lead instead of pulling over for the top 10 drivers in Western Canada.
If drivers want a second class, how about running a different car type (ie mini, 12th scale, WGT). TC isn't the only class out there.
This is JMO, but I think it is something we should all be thinking about.

I even agree with that. Intermediate drivers deserve a class that they can be in it to win. Top drivers will fill mod class no problem but why should the same guys dominate in both classes and take that away from upcoming drivers. Choose one class or the other and take a second class that is different IE. 1/12th scale or VTA

I have to agree. Being new to on-road racing, it would nice to have a class for new people getting into the hobby(TC Stock). I ll be running Stock TC, VTA and Mini. .

For me to travel 10 hours to race one rubber tire touring class(only car I have) is not worth it, I will be following Mike M in running a 13.5 in mod as that is what is run everywhere else....just looking for a second rubber tire class to run. With that said ; for pre-reg put me down for TC stock rubber and mod TC rubber.
Thanks...........Dwayne Flodell

easy there
I know guys want to maximize their car usage/track time since their traveling etc. I just don't like seeing the same top 10 in everything, and want to be able to tell newbies that they should come to big races, and that they may actually get some hardware.
BTW what about us guys running foam 19t? Where's our second class?
Anyway, lets get those "firm" rules posted
