Looks like this is gonna be another good one. I will try and see if I can switch my work schedule to attend this. I also need to update my electronics since the motors now are brushless, any good hobby shops that you can suggest Nospoom?

If you are running only this race (once a year) stick with the brush motor. Otherwise, goden horizon or indy hobby

Default Hard to double class

We should have 13.5 rubber or Mod foam. If you don't have TWO cars then you cant double class.

I hope superstock will be running on foam cuz I just spent a lot of money on a TC5F and a 13.5 brushless system!

Again, I'd like to see Mod Foam run...nothing like the 'time warp' down the straight.

Mike does have a point, hard to double up on classes if the only two offered are on different tires...so do us a favour, and add TC Mod PLEASE. That said, it would be nice to not see the same top 5-10 drivers in every class.

Norm,
the foam car will work just fine on rubber, the main difference is the chassis flex, and the slight improvement of the 'sweet spot' for setup. I've run my original FT TC5 (pre -F and -R) foam, asphalt, and rubber on carpet, and with some setup tweaks it seemed to work well on everything (they never used to make "Foam" and "Rubber" cars, you got 1 car and had to make it work).

Default Double class

13.5 foam or rubber is fine with me. I just would like to run two classes.Mod foam is always fun but is not for every one.

I would be in for some TC 13.5 Foam, and definitely some 12th Scale of some sort.

12th Scale is tough what with the different battery options.

For what it's worth, IROCC/Victoria is going full-on 1s LiPo this winter. We run 17.5 but could probably scrounge up enough 13.5/19T to make a trip over if this was the only offered 12th Scale class.

Default Minimum Weight for each class

Any idea what the Minimum weight for each class will be. Why not use the weights that they used at tha IIC in Vegas?

Ahh if only there was a USVTA class I would be all over this.... I might have to convert it for one race weekend to run tc rubber.
