Default Overgeared Racing 2009 Indoor Carpet Season.

Thought I start this up and see what everyone thoughts/feelings would be as with weather changing fast upon us, it's time to head inside.
This winter season would be pretty much the same except with the same problem encountered from every seasons.

There's a tremendous amount of stress on our crew trying to cater everyone and have the track up, ready to race and tear down.
Only less than a handful of racers are willing to help out in setting up or tear down. I cannot stress how much a little help from every racer can go.

This season, dates will be posted once we finalized them.
We will do our best to cater everyone. But if we gets no help from the racers on every dates we have, pretty much you will see the season ends quickly.
OGR had been trying very hard for many years but enough is enough.
So racers this is your call. You want racing, come make it a fun day. Volunteer your time for the hobby. It goes a long way.

Stay tuned for more updates to come.

Hey, Chris!

This is a different, but OGR related question. I have been hearing rumblings that The Big Chill is a go. Is that the case? Can you start a separate thread with the details? Lots of IROCCers interested. LMK. Thanks!

Phil

Hey Phil,

It's good to hear from you. As the rumors are rumbling along. Big Chill is @ it's stage of negotiations. Once it's done. We shall inform everyone. I know everyone is itchin to come back. I'll start up the thread soon. Hate to get everyone excited but if it's a no go, it be a total disappointment for a lot of people. We are working hard to get this happen. If anything else you need to discuss, give me a jingle. LMK if you required my #. TTYL.

I look forward to a return to the rug with my VTA and I will see if I can round up a TC for rubber tire racing.
I assume VTA will run actual USVTA rules again?

Default BIG CHILL

Yes Chris,

I can speak for most of the interior, if you need numbers from Kelowna the majority of our crew is eagerly waiting to find out dates of when the Big Chill is. Good Luck with negotiations Hopefully I can make it this year. My committment with the rockets, might keep me home again, but that depends on the dates the big chill is

Hey Inferno,

It's good to hear from you too. If there's 5 of you, the class is a go. As for rules, it'll be like last year. Everyone had fun doing that. You be my main man for tech...haa.haa

TC should be good especially 17.5 class and it's rubber like last year.
We like to keep things simple and fun for everyone.

Entry FEES are as follows:

First Class: $20.00
Second Class: $10.00
Third Class (if you even have time to do it lol!!) $5.00

I know this is an increase from last year, but there are alot of costs involved in running race days. Please keep this in mind and thank you all for your support!!!
