Hi I just got off the phone with Gary of One Stop Hobbies and wanted to give an update to the schedule for the next 3 dates for Abbotsford racing.

This Saturday ( Nov 7th) has been cancelled by the church due to a double booking on there part. This works out as the racers can now support the OG guys in Richmond without conflict and allow racers to travel to Edmonton for the 1st leg of the series race there.

The church has agreed to make the 14th open to us. So there will be racing on the 14th of Nov and then again on he 28th and Dec 5th.

Hopefully that works out the conflicts between the two clubs for race dates.

Yes Mike I do believe that they are going with JACO blue tires for spec. ( Abby) Not sure about Richmond.

On another thread I will post the upcoming races that will also be using the JACO blue tires as spec in Western Canada.

I'm thinking just tables. Last year the church didn't want us using the tables after being put away damaged (Burnt). But there are lots of chairs.

Hey guys was fun....Good to see some new and old faces around. Had a great run in Qualifying with Norm only 1-4 seconds apart for the entire run...Unfortunatly with the Carnage in the Main I don't think we were anywhere near each other. I was also Impressed that there were drivers that support the local hobby stores (Golden Horizon, Indy Hobby, Go Go Hobies and Race Tech Hobbies, Sorry if I left anybody out) out to support the racing and the OGR guys. See you in Abby next week.

Thumbs up Nov 7th Club Race.

It's great to see everyone back this winter season. I'm sure there's more familiar and new faces to come. We had a slight delay starting the club race but we had the track down and assembled for everyone within the couple of hours. Thanks to Crazy.M..and others for setting up the track.
It's almost a replica of Big Chill track but overall it was an easy flow except for those pinky dots..haa.haa

Also not to forget those who had stayed after the race to clean up, roll the carpet and tear down the track. We like to give you guys a pat in the back and thank you very much for the help. Keep this up I'll see more racing can happen with everyone participation.

Mini again it was a hit, a couple F104s came out to test the carpet, Super stock and stock class was a hit too.
Next race, we'll see a lot more of the F1s. This would be a race not to miss.

With the spec class, these are the rules to abide to

Tamiya Minis.
Canadian TCS rules.
Rubber tires.
Silver can (no 4 vents)
Reedy 2400 Lipo.
No weight limitations.
All Tamiya options only. (No aftermarket third party options).
Bodies (only one exception for club racing only it's open to any manufacture bodies)
Keep the good looking one for TCS. We want to see concourse back this year with a lot of creativity.

Tamiya F1.(F104,F103)
Spec battery. Reedy 2400 Lipo.
Motor: Tamiya Black can.
Foams: Tamiya options.
Tamiya Options only.

Reasons for the spec class with CDN TCS rules as it's easy to follow and it'll be used for the up coming CDN TCS series we be promoting in the coming new year. So get your gears and start tuning.
