Default Airdrie Race-Featuring the Tamiya Mini Mayhem 300

I thought that I should start a seperate thread, so here it is.
The Airdrie Asphalt Extravaganza-Featuring the Tamiya Mini Mayhem 300
Location: the S.W. corner of airdrie 8th street and bayside drive just north of Big Springs BLVD. on 8th street.
When: saturday July 25th
Schedule: open practice from 9:00-10:45 drivers meeting at 10:50 qualifiers start at 11:00.
We will get 3 rounds of qualifying with a resort after the 2nd round followed by single mains.
Classes:
-Touring Stock-17.5 brushless or 27 turn brushed
-Touring Superstock- this class will be run as a GTP style class with the World GT cars 19 turn brushed or 13.5 brushless.
-Tamiya Mini-all the mini guys know the rules....this will be the biggest class this year with at least 3-4 full heats with the Karz guys showing up. We also have some Edmonton guys coming down for Mini and some CARCAR guys showing up to run mini aswell....should be a good one- this will be promoted as the premiere class at this race. THE Tamiya Mini Mayhem 300.
-Tamiya TT-01-stock Tamiya TT-01's contact the Karz group for further rules or regulations on this class.
-Touring Nitro-10th scale .12 engine cars
Each class depends on a minimum of 6 cars entered.
AMB transponder system with club transponders available for use.

The surface is smooth asphalt that will be fully prepped. The Edmonton guys are going to bring down their sprayer so we will have lots of traction. I have a wicked layout planned and will have some nice passing sections aswell as a 120 foot straight into a full sweeper.....we are going to use the full 130x80 foot surface so the racing should be exciting.

Touring Supertsock GTP;run what chassisyou want with a 13.5 or 19 turn motor-12th, 10 pan, touring...even a mini if you think that it will handle the power.

I am planning on coming too and would run mini and TT-01.

How big are the pits. I have a 10x10 easy up awning. Would this be worth bringing?
