Let me know what else you guys find with the losi.
I won't be buying a crawler until Christmas unfortunately, but the losi is still looking like the front runner.
Other than that we've only seen them come into one of the stores up here last week.

Just an FYI, the Futaba 9650 is a direct fit for the dig servo as well.

I'm thinking fairly early, get it done quick. I would like to go around 10:00. I can meet you at the track around then if the time works with Rady's man with the rocks.

If you need more, afterwards, I know where there's a mountain of softball and bigger sized rocks

I'll probably be down there today, so I'll see if it's all mudded up on the way to it

Big thanks to Mike, Richard & Tim for working so hard on the track today.
And a huge thanks to Larry for donating all the rock and a dump truck to haul it. Couldn't have done it without the truck and Richard's ( sure hope I got your name right ) trailer.

Either way we officially have a Crawler Pile now. Awesome guys. When is the first competition Mike??? This Sunday???

Not sure how to charge race fees for this yet. ( Yes race fees, this is what allows us to keep building and adding on to the course and pay for the water to maintain the course and power to charge your batteries as well as pay for the fuel in Larry's dump truck.)
Thinking no race fees this year as it's a building year for this division of the club so long as you have a club membership. When you buy a membership you also get the combination to the lock on the gate so you get unrestricted access to the track.
If you don't have a membership we'll have to charge a race fee that is yet to be decided. Either $10 or $15 anyway.

Membership's are available at Wonderland Toy and Hobby, Extreme R/C and at the track on race days which are most Sunday's.
Go to www.gpmra.net for more details and schedule.

As you see by Greg's post WE HAVE A CRAWLER LOCATION! Yippee, now if only my truck didn't crap out today. As Greg mentioned we need everyone to purchase a club membership, this will let us get everything set up and run some comps this year. We will have comp fees once we get some guys together but for now lets just have some fun and crawl! We owe Richard and his brother in law a huge thank you as without him we might have had a lot smaller pile to work with. Larry that supplied the rocks jumped in and offered a dump truck that put us over the top. Also a big thanks to Greg, who by the way is a racer, no yet converted to crawling but I'm working on him. Greg was there all day with us and loaded a few rocks into my truck also.
