Here's the link to the Losi Comp Crawler Mike.

http://www.losi.com/Products/Default...rodID=LOSA0051

It does have worm gear axles.

Everything I have read says this is a great ttruck. The worm drive is an amazin addition. I know from the MRC that Losi put out they got it right the first time so I think this truck should be tops also. One thing about the Axial is the option parts that are available. You saw my AX-10 and how much I have done to it and I have a long way to go still but I'm sure there will be lots of options for the Losi very soon also.

That's exactly why I'm having a hard time deciding between the two.

I'm still working on getting a truck arranged to get the rocks to the track but if you have been to a comp befor I would love to sit down and chat about it a bit. I am flying by the seat of my pants a bit here and want to get something going imediately after getting the rock to the trace. Call me in the evening sometime 780-832-6453.

I don't work saturday, so I'm thinking of tossing the 9 tooth pinions in, so if someone has a good place for a giant truck to crawl around... lol

Kevin, so far they are mazing with a couple of small issues.

Because of the worm gears people are having issues overheating the motors. They are definatley reccomending brushless.
Second is the CVD's. Some are good, some are bad. If your's are bad, contact Losi and they will send you new ones, no questions asked.
The shocks need 9.5mm of external limiting so it doesn't flex to much. If it flexes to much the driveshaft hit's the upper links.

I have one Scott, just wondering if any of the GP guys are running one. I have removed 2 shims from the gear in the worm drive and broke in the axles with a drill to reduce enitial temps. I have the new cv's coming from Losi allthough i have not even ran mine yet. LRP crawler 21.5t brushless motor on the way, ESC dont know, losi servo for the dig, 3s lipo. I might have to work on the rock pile in the back yard while i wait for stuff to come for this.
Sorry to hi-jack your thread here so back to the GP crawler guys.

Kevin
