Stopped in last night but you guys were already gone, the obstacles look AWESOME so far!!

Default Winter Comp Series

We are good to go for the winter series! We will be working with the Racers this winter to run our comps on the same days as they are racing. Going to be a bit different through tthe winter as we want to limit the radios on at any one time. We will be running the competitors 2 at a stage between the race qualifiers. This way ef you want to race you can still crawl! The course is ready to get started, remember it will change through the winter. Please bring your own pit table as there are none on site. Location is huge! The old Brandt Tractor building south of Costco just past the tracks. $5.00 entry for the building use and comp fees will be the same. See you there!

You're right, I was about a second away from tossing it! I did some digging on the internet and might be that my problem is that I am too crowded with my ESC and Receiver. I tore it all apart and I'm trying to move everything a bit further away. It's not together but I will be there tonight anyway, maybee just to work on it, maybe I get to drive. I'm almost ready to put the super back together and just get serious with it! see you tonight.

Official GPMRA News

The GPMRA 2009-2010 Indoor Event Schedule is ready! To make sure you don't miss any events, please save the attached PDF to your computer, print out a copy, and pin it to your wall.

This coming weekend is our first feature race. It will include a show and shine, and a swap meet so if you've got any R/C items you would like to sell or trade, this is the time to do it! Registration will begin at 10:00am.

November 17th is the first RC101 school. It will be held at the track at 7:30pm. The subject of the first class will be... Electronics! So, if you've got any questions about speed controllers, radio equipment, servos, etc... be sure to attend this class!

Thanks to all the enthusiastic racers who came (in great numbers) to the first race of the indoor season. It was a smashing success with the greatest turnout we've ever had at any race ever! (inching towards 40 racers!) Way to go Grande Prairie!

A bit of a late reminder but we are Comping every Sunday this winter. Looks like we might be splitting the classes a bit as there are lots of Comp trucks and quite a few other 2.2 coming out. For this week we are still running the same format unless we have 6 Comp trucks out (dig/4w steer). I would love to see it split even more into Novice/Comp 2.2 and 2.2 Outlaw (I think Denis would like to see this also) but until we have 6 trucks per catagory we will keep it the same. 13 trucks overall last week and I hope to hit 10 this week! Running order may change as we need to run only 2.4 while the races are on and the FM radios and racers will go between race heats.

well ill give ya something for it haha i dont want to put the time that you took to build it too waste! And as far as the ball ends go would they just be like the ends that all of the other links have on them? just a straight peice of plastic with a hollow ball in the middle where the screw goes through? Im making an order today so hopefully by the end of the week my crawler will be a fairly different truck lol!
