Correct. We have found that a non boosted 17.5 short course truck is similar in speed to most of the rtr 2wd trucks out there. This is the class that we will recommend to new comers who just want to get a durable rtr truck to start out. This way they are not blasted by another truck in the field with more motor, etc.

Thanks

Aaron

Looking for suggestions as to what tires might work. Looks like the track will end up somewhere between packed clay, but not quite blue groove. Thoughts?

It looks like we need to keep a bit of moisture in that mix. I tried the dirt webs and they were not good when wet. Blockades still seem to be a good choice Greg did try impacts not sure on his thoughts. My car with a 10.5 felt good on 3ds

Thanks guys but I would change the wording of this.

Blinky mode for brushless or stock ESC on RTR trucks

Hi All

As some people may have heard we has a "test and tune" day last weekend to get some feedback on the track before an official opening. Below is some footage that was taken that show a good amount of the track.

Yeah, that looks awesome.
I have very little experience on dirt like that, so very curious to hear what tires I need.

Well we are trying to get it worked in. Same as rcgears Blockades and ribs. Traction is huge so far but has some crumble being new. I think it will come in to a lower pile tire with use.

I have tried various web type tire and with moisture in they are not the best. Dry "which is hard on the track they are great" We are new and learning. It is the most fun you can have. I am back and love it. Race outside when I can but this is really fun. Nobody last weekend did not have a smile while on the track.

So...Hypothetically, if one were to consider a new buggy purchase to take advantage of this AWESOME turn of events should one be looking at a Mid Motor or Rear Motor style of buggy given the likely traction and overall nature of this new track? TIA!

Cheers!

Preferably round ones Right now just come out and run, the tires will sort itself out after everyone's been running the track. We've have see how the track starts grooving up, it's been all sorts of treads on the track right now.
