Default Saskatchewan Race Dates

As per the multiple requests at this year's Winternats the Sask Off-Road Radio Control Club would like to announce our 2009 schedule.

Our track is located in the parking compound of Auto Clearing Motor Speedway just outside of Saskatoon (2 minutes north on Highway #12).

Here are the scheduled dates for our 2009 points series:


MAY
Sunday May 31st -- SORRCC POINTS RACE #1

JUNE
Sunday June 14th -- SORRCC POINTS RACE #2
Friday June 26th -- HOBBYWORLD CLASSIC
Saturday June 27th -- HOBBYWORLD CLASSIC
Sunday June 28th -- HOBBYWORLD CLASSIC

JULY
Sunday July 12th -- SORRCC POINTS RACE #3
Sunday July 26th -- SORRCC POINTS RACE #4

AUGUST
Sunday August 9th -- SORRCC POINTS RACE #5
Friday August 21st -- CRUISE WEEKEND RACE
Saturday August 22nd -- CRUISE WEEKEND RACE
Sunday August 23rd -- CRUISE WEEKEND RACE

SEPTEMBER
Sunday September 6th -- SORRCC POINT SERIES #6
Saturday September 26th -- SORRCC POINT SERIES FINAL
Sunday September 27th -- SORRCC POINT SERIES FINAL

Entry fee for the 2009 series is a one time $10 fee for all paid club members. The entry fee is going to be applied to trophies and prizes. Non club members who wish to participate will be required to pay $5 per points race. The track will be open every Sunday (weather pending) for informal racing/practice on every non-point race weekend. If a rain out occurs the point series race will be pushed one weekend later.

awesome. Thanks for the schedule and i hope to make it out several times. might race this instead of the Alberta scene this year.
I know you will see a couple of us from lloydminster during the season

My bro and I are hoping to make it out for the Cruise Weekend Race in August. We haven't raced in Sask. yet, so hopefully everything falls into place

Hey guys,its starting to dry up here in Saskatoon, and the track rebuild will be starting soon,I hope that one of the board memeber or even myself will have time to take pics as the progress goes.. Its gona be a great year of racing..

Thanks for the race dates. I checked my schedule and I am off the weekend of your big August race so I will be sure to grab the fiance (wife by then) and come on over for some racing.

Classes are as follows:

1/8th Buggy
1/8th Truggy
Monster Truck
Stock Slash (depends on entry numbers)

Track surface is loamy with a hard clay base. Pics of the revised layout will be up as soon as possible.

whoa must of been drunk when I wrote that question LOL. I ment to ask will you run the sc10 with the slash's, and what motor esc combo would i need to run my sc10 in stock slash. Like can i run a novak duster II(1990's) and the stock traxxas Titan 12 turn?

Weather permitting we are planning some practice laps/informal racing on Sunday afternoon.

Our summer series kicks off at the end of May - that's when the real racing starts!

Come on down to do some laps!
