Just a reminder that the Edmonton Tricities race is Nov 16,17,18.
Entry form should be up soon on the nascar web site for those interested.

Default Off-Road Racing

Hi All,

I was wondering if there are any Off-Road racers on this thread? I am in Crookston Minnesota a little over 100 miles from Canada. I have built a nice track and have everything needed to have decent racing action here. Would any of you guys be interested in racing down here next summer?

Hi Gary,

I am very familiar with decent Off-Road tracks being far away. Presently if I didn't build my own track, the nearest one to me would be 190 mile from here at Brainerd, MN.

I decided to put up the post on this thread because there was some Canadian racers that would show up at racing events at Fargo, ND a few years back when they had a track. I am about 70 miles closer to the border than they were,

I would like to draw more people over here to get some good racing going in this area again. My track and available services are probably more than you would expect from a small-city racer. I also have my own AMBrc lap counting system. Check out my web site sometime and let me know what you think. Click on the "Altepeter Off-Road Raceway" to see some pics.

Excellent race meeting in Kamloops this Sunday - 30 cars entered. 11 in the Pro-10 class, 10 in Touring Stock, 5 in Novice and 4 in Touring Mod.

Next race is November 18th, when we hope to see even more racers out.

Winners this week were R. J. Carroll in Pro-10 and Touring Mod, Doug Martin in Touring Stock, and Rob Lion Jr in Novice.

Hey people,

Here's the info about Edmonton's leg of the tricities+2 held on Nov 16,17&18.

Classes:

1/10 Touring cars: stock and mod
Rubber tires only

1/12 pan cars: stock and mod

1/10 pan cars: stock and mod

Depending on the amount of entries we may just run one class of 1/10th pan open.

$25 for the first class and $5 for every additional class

The track is located at the same school as last year 7404 meridain street just off highway 14. For those coming in from the south take calgary trail north to the whitemud, head east and take the highway 14 north turnoff. Take the first left turn towards the UFA gas station (aprox 1km). The school is located a few blocks north of the gas station.

Any question or concerns please Email me @

Didn't Calgary have the nats last year. And if it's is january, the weather I think will have a big impact on entries.
