Default Track work

Hi people. Just catching up on what is going on in the Loops. Reading some past posts and there seems to be some real good enthusiasm towards working on the track that's great. In regards to Ren's comment as "it's Doug's track" no it's the TVRCRC members track, and if you would like to see some changes to it then get ahold of some of the members and Brent because he is the Prez and discuss it. I don't have the time right now to be there guys I'm sorry. Jason Mardon seems to have a good eye to what may need to be done and I would personally like to see him take charge for now.
A few things that I would like to see were mentioned so go right ahead. I would like to see the loop moved before we change the track or remove the doubles. Table top sounds good as does the banked corner. I may come out Sunday for a bit but not for sure. If I do it will be early like 9am. Well all for now ttyl. DOUG

Default Great Work Party!

Thanks to Rob & Rob, Greg and Kyle for their help today. We got the fabric down and the one, main area covered with gravel. Looks GREAT! I will have to get another felt to lay down on the other section to the left of the drivers stand. Should almost have enough gravel to do the rest but may have to put in a request for a little more from the city.

Thanks again guys,

Default driver's stand ??

Hey guys sounds like we missed a very productive work party. I was wondering when the next one is and if its going to envolve the drivers'stand. I have the next two weekends off and most of the week of the 21st (thursday till monday). I'm willing to come by and swing a hammer whether anyone else is there or not. So if you get started earlier than this Friday then let me know what needs to be done. If a listof things is left and an idea of what we want, I'll come by after work to help finish it off over the next few weeks.

If not this weekend, then may I suggest the August long weekend. I don't believe that I have to work the weekend, and I'm sure that there are many others that don't have anything to do at all. So maybe we could get a good three days work done on the track and drivers' stand at that time.

Default Drivers Stand

Hi all,

Work should hopefully begin on the drivers stand, the week of the 28th to August 1st. I am working quite a bit right now but my holidays start on the 26th of July, the day before our "River Race". My Dad is also on holidays and he will probably be back by the end of this week. I am crossing my fingers that this time slot will work with his schedule, which I am sure it will. Hang tight guys......it will be built.

River Race:

Classes that I have included are Touring Stock, Touring Mod, Truck Stock, Truck Mod and Monster Truck (Gas or Electric). Are there any others or should that about cover it? I was thinking of setting it up like we did last year....run each heat every 10 minutes on the ten. This way, people know when there is going to be a race and will know when they have to be there to see it. People watching is who I am talking about. Comments, let me know? I am now doing up an entry form and have to have a good idea as to what classes and roughly how many.

Can somebody set-up this Sunday morning, July 20th? I am working night shift and will not be there untill around noon or so. Thanks.

See you all soon,

Is anyone planning on running their tour car this weekend to get tune up for the river race?

I've cleaned most of the carpet fuzz out of Carver's and my cars and hope to have them ready for this weekend if we run them.

Talking hey all

I am just wondering.. is the river race a paid event or is it kinda free to us?? just wondering?? I might give a shot at either TC mod or truck mod....I would just like to try and get the most cars we can in each race....also for offroad we are just racing on pavement??yes?? if so I am guessing it would be a good idea to maybe not use my new tires and does anyone else have some that I can borrow???
