All in all, Great turn out, and some good laps. The track held together Great! Huge thanks to eric for giving us the table that we did get.
On the neg.. Today would have been a good time to end if we did 3 heats. To long considering we only did 2. Next time itll be smoother seeing as the computer is all set up.
Next sunday I believe we will be trying to do a work party. Simple grooming up the larger ruts and the jumps.
--Also-- the lock ups need a good tidy.
just wanted to say thanks to every one that went out sunday, it was a great first time out door race, realy need to get a off road buggy, thanks, till next time.

ummm...go fast?
Wow, that was a busy day...10classes! Crazy. Final count was about 47 entries...that is a record for the outdoor season.
I have to apologize for the delays early on with the computer and loop issue...i did expect a hiccup or two, but figured it would be minor at best. once sorted the day did run smooth. Racing was good in all classes and several new faces out at the track. Welcome, Cale, Cooper, Riley and Josh!
Also, thanks to Colin, Kevin and Dusting joining us from Kelowna.
We will need a change to lay out the day to get in the 3 qualies and the mains and be finish by about 5-530, we have 2 options.
1. Combine classes together to reduce the heats per round
2. Speed up the pace of the day a bit and reduce delays.
Personally, a combo of both would be the best option...mainly concentrating on Option 2. We were waiting several times for racers to get to the line. With 10 heats, it should be easy to be ready for your race. So lets work on that. Also, the world won't end if you miss a heat...if you know you won't be ready, tell the guy calling the race.
is it possible to put 2wd buggy and 2wd truck in the same?? are they not both open classes, and I don't think there was anyone running both of those classes??? I understand running on-road and offroad can make it alot for one day but having them both out there was awesome.... I think being the first race of the year and having alot of new faces there was some kinks to work out...both personally and club wise... I am kinda guessing that over the next couple race days everyone will get into that grove, so to speak.....
