We ( NASCAR ) will be holding an open non ROAR event this summer on the second weekend of August 2002. I am advising everyone who uses this page so that you will have plenty of warning and hopefully no conflicts with other clubs. We decided to leave the long weekend open for clubs like Kamloops who traditionaly use that weekend. I will post more information at a later date.
Looking forward to it; I really enjoyed the Nats. And smirk should be able to paint a new body by then!!
Like your approach re conflicts. Hopefully others will do likewise.
A bunch of info on Edmonton races for the next year or so will be posted on the website tonight - memebers.home.net/rccar. This includes the Tri-cities and the big summer race.
OSH Looking forward to the NOV. race. Just got my new xxxs together and can't wait to hit the carpet. May get down to Abby sooner to run with u guys. LATER Doug Martin
The Kamloops club had its first indoor race of the year yesterday (Sunday). Despite it being Thanksgiving weekend, we had a reasonable turnout. Two Mod Touring cars (Ken's Axis 2 beat out R.J.'s new XXX-S), four Stock Touring cars (Jenny beat an entirely Schumacher field), and NINE RC10L3T's. This is our club championship class this year, and if yesterday is any guide, the competition will be fierce. There are at least three more due out next time.
Anyone needing a copy of the club's schedule should contact Brent (brentwende@yahoo.com)
Hey Doug! Losi........Schumacher...........Losi!!! You change Manufacturers faster than I change my underwear!! What will you do with all that Schui apparel??
