Thumbs up Track Work

Out at the track today briefly to drop off some more ties and rebar. Martin is out there hitting the weeds pretty hard. Looks great Martin and thanks for the effort.

We need to finish gathering the weeds and getting them into one big pile for removal. Hopefully this can get done tomorrow along with the ties used alongside whatever jumps you wanted to do....or whatever changes you wanted to make..

See you all tomorrow at the track.....

Default Yo

Brent: lol, you mentioned no changed to the track, then you said you brought supplys for use to my our changes.... I think what people are saying about "changes" is just making sure the track is in MINT shape. Clean up is #1, but also most of the jumps need attention. And cory mention the other day of adding some dirt in the corner before the triple. Kind of a Brim, but also getting rid of all the nasty pot holes. I thinking most people that were there, were in agreement on that. GO CORY!!!

Thanks for dropping off the supplys, ill be there in the am.

Also Id like to thank Bernie for the donation of the .21 motor for the 8t2.0 and also the advice from jason for the clutch..... Still in need of a 4way losi flywheel. But it will do for now.

Hey Curtis don't worry about the corner before the triple, me and corey and Cody were out there and got it all reeeeeally smooth so enjoy tomoro, would be nice to smooth out that straight stretch since that's the oonly thing we didn't smooth or fix on wensday, I'll be out around 10ish hopefully

Exclamation Track Changes

Whatever you guys decide, please do not take anymore dirt DIRECTLY from that nasty hole in the bank. That can sluff off very easyly and then the City will be down our throats....trust me. If you need dirt, please scrap along the ground in that general area.

Thanks

Was a good day out there, took care of a lot of things. Nice to have a good turnout.
Regarding track changes; Theres no way to please everyone. I hope you all agree that decisions should be done democratically ie: voted on. No way one person can just say "we're doing this+that" unless as a club, 1-2 people are chosen to be in charge of track design.
Just thought Id mention this as there was some tension regarding the subject. In the end the track is the same for everyone!

Track night this wednesday, and I'll try to make it out to shoot some video.

Thumbs up

I know I'm not a member anymore but from the pictures that Brian posted on photobucket I like the sutle changes that were done. I ran the track a few weeks ago and thought it was well BORING. more like dirt on-road... a few more jumps and bumps is good...it is suppose to be off-road.

JMO

Nice pics Brian

Oh and the track looks awesome...nice job TVRC

Smile Work Party...

Outstanding turn out at the work party today! Don't think I have ever seen that many people, doing all these different jobs......all at the same time. Great work guys. It looks fantastic! Just a bunch of small tasks yet to complete...

I think the highlight of the day was seeing Curtis in those suspenders, tool belt and straw hat.....it looked like a scene from Deliverance. I thought someone was going to break out a banjo....

See ya ll real soon....

brent .. brent.. brent... laura said dont diss the hat.....

Any ways great work party. The track is looking awesome... Everyone did a good job, but most of all........ Martin get excellent with the weeds !!! I hate pulling weeds. On his own time and by himself he did what we all really didn't want to do. 2 thumbs up!

everyone give yourself a pat on the back, we all did a good job.

Brent with a little bit of lumber, hangers, and plywood. We could built that control tower you were telling me about. And with some re-enforcements it could be built on-top of the existing one.

Default T4 parts or parts car? Anyone got one?

Hey guys my poor sc10's gear diff has seen better days, associated didn't give me extra shims in my kit for my diffy so it's all sloppy ( Jason this was the noise that's baffling the both of us) about 80% of sc10 problems on the net is this same situation of associated not giving the correct amount of shims needed, so I'm looking to do the ball diff swap to eliminate the problem all together since the gear diff wasn't made very good and the noise supposidly comes back after time, for my swap I need both sides of the t4/b4 tranny case, the outdrive bearings and the ball diff assembly, I re-use everything else since it's all same part#. I would need this asap if possible, I'm not concerned about used or anything so even if you have a busted up one I can salvage the diff out of or I hear Jason has a whole buncha extra t4 stuff? Let me know, I would REALLY appreciate this asap, call anytime and ill run over with some cash 2508515558 -Tom
