That is a nice clutch, but as Rob said difficult to use. I have a similar one on my nitro TC and it works great. Once it is set, it is good. Problem is setting it, you have to take everyone out to make a small adjustment, then try it, then adjust, try, adjust...it is nice and probably the way to get for outright tuneability, but not the most user friendly device.
Like I said, piece together what you need for the kit, and Ren and I will get it in.
Just a reminder that racing is a go for this Sunday.
I will be out at the track the next few days repainting the lines. Anyone who has some spare time is certainly welcome to come out and join me. I really need someone to step up with a weedeater to clear about a 3' to 4' path around the perimeter of the asphalt track. Would really help out alot as we prepare for our Big On-Road Race at the end of the month.
Still looking for a response on that email sent to you club members???

First off, Track Night tonight as usual. See you boys there...anyone have a turbo plug?
Second, CORCS race in Coquitlam Aug 7-9...anyone else from the loops going? I need to book my room, and right now have a ROCK member waiting to hear from me. I'll split with a Looper if anyone is going. I need to know today...
I do recommend that anyone planning on running at the end of the summer at our CORCS Final, should attend at least one other Series race.
As most of you probably know by now, our big On-Road race of the Summer (August 1 & 2) has been rescheduled to September 19th & 20th. For more details see the appropriate thread.
Racing this weekend is a go! Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!
The August 2nd race day will now be turned into a regular club race.
Hopefully these changes don't conflict too much with other plans you may have had.

BRUSHED all the WAY!
"racing since the 80's an XRAY was something you needed when you broke a bone."
I'll be makin it to the Coast for the CORCS but Melissa has her World Fire and Police Games from July 31st to Aug 9th I will be down on the coast for the entire time! I will get some good practice time on the track!
Following the announcement that we are changing the date for the Mid-Summer on road race back to it's usual September slot, it seems that we are set for a club race on the long weekend (August 1st / 2nd).
Since several of us were starting to get out our TC's for that weekend, I'd like to make a suggestion. How about an ON ROAD club race, on the pavement track. And, since it is a long weekend, how about running the event on MONDAY, rather than the Sunday, so that people could still get out camping/dirtbiking/atv'ing for the weekend if they wanted to ?
Can I get some opinions here as to whether (or not) our club members like the idea ?
With a bit of digging around we could find quite a lot of TC type cars, so that those who don't currently have an on-road could borrow one for the race and get a taste of "on road" ? We could also resurrect the old "Off Road Trucks On Road" that was a popular class not long ago. Put a set of old tires on the truck, lower it's suspension a bit, and go out and set times that would embarrass the supposedly quicker Touring cars !
So lets hear some opinions ! If you don't like the idea, well, I suppose I can always stand another afternoon lounging by the pool instead !
Damn....why am I getting involved in all this again ?
