If we decide now, i don't think it will be a problem. Though someone should be there mid day to catch anyone who happens by...turn it into a work/play day.
It is 50/50 I won't be there, and with Brent not there either, we will not have a Race Director.
roled roofing is a good idea at least on the first jump of the tripple
when ur done for the day role it up and store it in the back room
use tent peg nails to nail it down the nail heads would be flush with the paper
we still doing wed. at the track

what am I? I think I just said I had booked it off and was planning to attend.
I am not sure why my efforts to help out are continually rebuked. seems to me the club was asking people to help out so we would have more people with experience on race days. I have made an effort to try to learn the system and have spent countless days and hours, by myself, fixing up the track last year.
I realize I do not have all your guys experience and knowledge to keep everything moving swiftly, but I showed up and tried to fill a position nobody else wanted. If things have changed I would Gladly step down.
Last year we ran all season with very little attendance and for the most part we all had fun. sometimes we raced and sometimes we just had a blast. everyone enjoyed the day just being social, working on trucks, learning, and jostling around the track against each other.
I would like to go out and have some some fun and enjoy trying to get my trucks to go around the track. I will be there and I encourage anyone else who wants to come out and knock some wheels together on the track to bring their rc.
If you want to still hold a full raceday, then by all means we can. The issue i'm concerned about is that no one will be left to help if we go to CORCS.
As you said, there were several times you guys just ran a work/play day because not enough people showed. I would suggest we at least do something like that, few guys drop by, do some work on the track, and then play for a bit after.
I'm just saying, that Brent and I will likely not be here to help get the day setup etc...
Greg Im %99 sure wednesdays are on. I can only make it 2 times a month due to shift work.
Brian I would have given you a ride but the ole civic was packed to the gills with rc and my boys. What part of town do you reside?
I think at this point we value all input/help/support for the track. Im sure it will work out for a day of racing on the 17th. As like Jason, Im on the fence right now about going to corcs rd 1. The huge jump/gap there looks rediculous! I like my cars....i dont want to destroy them....lol
You know typing in words on these dang forums, sometimes its easy to get misunderstood......guys lets all take comments with a grain of salt, its very hard to express things on here! (this is not reffering to any specific post)
Re: Stu Ford. IMO great all round rc'er. Helpful, enthusiastic, great corner marshal and pit man. I think his hit to pass mode on sunday was him wanting to win very very badly.....i dont think he meant any harm. We will talk to him about it and im sure he'll be good next time.
Keeping on good terms with fellow racers has its benifits. My old friend Brad davis is getting my spare buggy roller and a bunch of spares to get him back into racing. Brad is a model rc'er and deserves it!
See im not such a bad guy after all....
Just a quick note to say thanks from all of us as a family for a great Sunday afternoon. I have a very busy day tommorow but would be interested in some play time if I can fit it in. What time do things get under way on Wednesdays?
hey all, thx for your support and all. rides are gonna be a bit tricky i guess. thx for for the offer to track night, but i have to work and rarely get wednesday's off. I do how ever somehow ended up with this fri, sat, sunday off, so if anyone is headed out to the track I would prolly be interested in going.

Ok TRACK NITE..... Sorry thought it was Tech. nite. I will try to make it. The "honey do list" is still going strong but I will make every effort to make it. Thanks guys
Well Track Night turned into a work party. Bubba used his mad skills to help tweak up the triples after some damage from mountain bikes. They look like new, we will see how they hold up at the next club race.
Saved Bernie from from blowing his rear diff apart. It looked so pretty sitting there, I just had to have a look.
Brent did manage to put the door back up on Race Control..finally peace and quiet while doing registration.
Speaking of club race...are we going to reschedule for the 17th?? Looks like I'm heading for Coquitlam that weekend.
Thanks again with the help on the motor.... That was going pretty good for havin issues with the Clutch.....
I'll be at the track on the 17th for sure.... I won't be able to make it to POCO..... I want too but I still need to learn to drive the 1/8th Nitro.....
I think that we will just call the 17th a Play/Work day and if Brian wants to be there to oversee everything then great. So there will be no actual computer scoring on that day but you are more than welcome to race your buddies, unofficially for bragging rights.....
We will hold a regular club race on the 24th of May. Sound good everyone?
