In regards too the trophies...

I would recommend giving every novice and or slash driver get a trophy, they are your future.

The guys in the bottom of the A-main don't need anything. Top 3 at best.

It was determined that we would have to fill 1/8 electric buggy and truggy and MT 10 minimum to race in their own class,as we didn't want the "unfair advantage"and "pit controversy" arguments to consume us as they have in the past by running electrics with nitro.

When the rules where layed down BEFORE the races there was no problems....It's when the rules CHANGE during the race is where the problems start.

As for unfair advantage: I'm feeling that the double pit time we have to do should more than make up for the difference between a tuned engine and not tuned.
I'm sure there could be enough of a turnout to have own class...then we wouldn't have to race against the nitro's.

If I understand correctly: If there is 10... 1/8 scale electrics then we have a class
Or how about the 1/8 electrics race for the fun/sport of it and NOT FOR POINTS....or just the bragging rights..

My even bring the T4 along to embarass myself. It's all good.

Just to clarify, does the 2wd electric truck class include buggies or the converted T4's (J82)?
I will have to get back to you on that one. I will post as soon as I hear.

Thank you for your support and your suggestions. I am taking notes with all your suggestions to evolve our race to a higher standard for next year. As for this year our classes are set and the format and prizes are determined. I hope to see you all here in Red Deer !
I can hardly wait !

Thanx again,

Sounds like this became a topic of debate last year. Enough of one that the Clutch Nutz decided to deal with the electrics as they have posted and probably after several planning meetings within their club.

It would be nice to see a class just for the 1/8 electric's if there is enough cars. I would rather see this than 1/10's.

But no matter what, the rest of us not involved in the decision process have to respect the host club's decision and support it. The time between now and the race is for questions and helpful suggestions, Not harsh criticism!!!!

Is it worth taking a poll to see if a 1/8 E class would go?
I really don't care If I have to race with buggies or truggies with my E-Revo..
I JUST WANT TO RACE AND HAVE FUN....
I believe this is the only way to promote the chance at a new E-class...
In the end we won't have to race nitro's and electrics at the same time..

I'm not realy sure where I read this BUT I know it's in one of the rule books..

The driver is scored, and not the car
