I think the latest we've been done is 7 minus teardown of course, most don't stick around for that though.

Thumbs down

I posted on the Mid winter Kamloops thread about Mini's and this is the response.

As much as I would like to run another class I'm afraid that we already have enough classes and adding any more would add too much to the length of the race day. Obviously if numbers are lower than expected, then we may look at this request closer to the event but for the most part it will most likely stay as is.

Thanks for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you at this event.

as much fun as Vintage Trans Am Racing is (VTA),

i wish we could run with the current sports cars of today first.

i think this would look awesome to be in an overgeared event:

Thumbs up vid

Well I came out for my first onroad run in a loooong time on sat. and it was a blast running 12th scale! The layout was alot more open than I had thought it would be and was quite challenging for me having not driven in awhile.

Overgeared runs a tight ship, and we got out of there early. I think there was like 25 minis there! A great kids class to start in.

Anyways I'd like to thank Crazy Mike for all his help getting me up to speed with the 12th scale, and Vince for letting me use his car!

Anyways i shot a vid of the A-main 19 turn touring car. I thought you guys might wanna see this even though its generally following Mike's car.

A concern about adding another class for me is the increasing lack of race time for the current classes. In the 5 hours of racing last Saturday I raced a total of 3 races for a whopping combined 18mins of actual racing (unless the touring stock main was only 5 mins, can't remember). I would have liked to see the mini's have 1 less heat, there was only about 5 or 6 mini's in each heat and the track is pretty big for them I'm sure they would be fine with 8+

It was fun nevertheless, just hard to improve with so little time to actually race. Just my 2 cents.

what we need is a fun session, all day

20 mins of each class alternating

we would be worn out after that
