Well Jayyeone, you may have missed the meeting after the incident or maybe you didnt. The two parties involved were given 2 options, #1 was to pack up there $#!T and get the F$%K out, or #2 to deal with the problem like adults and talk it out. Not sure what gave you the idea that this hobby isnt growing, but being that im heavily involved in on road and off road racing and have raced or talked to almost every person involved in racing in the lower mainland, rest assure, the hobby is doing just fine. This wont be the first or last time you see tempers flare. It happens in all competitive sports, F1, NASCAR, Hockey etc. Just because you look at my RC car and see a toy doesnt mean that i see it that way too. I race with the same intencity as guys that race the big cars. And its only human nature to be competitive. Do i agree with what happened???? No, not at all. But you dont see me pointing fingers at anyone trying to pass the blame because of some peoples poor judgment. Overgeared felt that having both sides come to a mutual agreement was the appropriate way to deal with the situation and i will back them all the way on there decision.

not pointing fingers here guys just saying that if anything like this happened those involve should have been punished properly , any one could shake hands not a problem but , knowing what happened .what if i personaly accidenttally cut some off . should i be watching my back now , . come on now . if they were pusnished with a 3 race banning or some thing im sure they will think of what happened . i know people get upset mad in real competition like F1, hockey etc. but this is Radio controll cars gimme a break your to serious that youll jump people . or are you to afraid to ban them because youll loose people that creates money in your pockets.
not trying to start anything here nor bad mouth the OGR (i did introduce people to the club including my self ) but i plan on bringing my family to the on comming races should i be worried about this happening again ,because i know last time i was there those same people involve not saying any names was yelling at a little kid.i was planning to introduce my brother and his little son to this now that i hear of what went on you think i would'nt be upset ,this hobby should be enjoyed by kids and adult alike . not adults acting like kids. lol am i gonna get banned for this .

question is can we run the old silver can motor( 4 sloted holes)?

Your right Jayyeone... this is a hobby and a sport for some. And if your not having fun your not doing it right. OGR has given the parties involved a warning and also made it loud and clear that if it happens again that they will be asked to leave. First and foremost we all want a safe and fun environment to race in and want people to be able to bring there kids and families to enjoy the racing that we all love so much. So dont let this incident deter you from bring them out or yourself for that matter. And if i have to do it myself, i will show any guests the fun part of RC racing. So if you know one or both parties that were involved, do your part to encourage them to not be discouraged by what happened.
