12000 rpm isn't much....what Dyno are mad are useing and at what voltage?

I just bought the Suzuki Swift, threw it together the night before the race and had no problem keeping up and I know nothing about motors. Great class. Now I just need to find a way to keep up with the brushed guys on my stock TC, those guys are tearing it up.

its ok big gord.... i hear about it all the time. some seem to think that the motor is what makes the car go fast. i still run brushed motor in 19T and i get the "OH... thats why" comment all the time. my motor is old, my car is old, my batteries are old, but yet it must be the motor that is fast not me. yesterday for two rounds i couldnt break a 9.4 sec lap so i decided to make a setup change and bang!!! 9.2sec lap. but it must have been my motor LoL. funny since i didnt have time to cut or brush my motor cause i was helping Coray with his 1/12 scale. also when i was in Kamloops i noticed a few drivers switch to brushed motor and only improved maybe a tenth of a second if that. Just remember, straight aways are for fast cars and corners are for fast drivers, i saw your mini go, it handles really well and it doesnt scrub cornering speed. Trust me, out of 20 drivers, the only one that doesnt have an excuse or a complaint is the winner. that leaves 19 to make up excuse as to why you won or they lost. Just keep doing what your doing and dont pay attention to the whinners.

I'm switching to a Kimbrough 1/8 Nitro servo saver, but can you bring one in for me to replace the one of Ken's that I broke yesterday?

Thanks Ryan.

these people should be band from the club . I my self am mad because i have introduce these new guys to the club and now may have the posibility of not going racing again . the numbers of people racing is not growing if you look at the over all picture and actions like these are stupid and should have been delt with right away .

Well Jayyeone, you may have missed the meeting after the incident or maybe you didnt. The two parties involved were given 2 options, #1 was to pack up there $#!T and get the F$%K out, or #2 to deal with the problem like adults and talk it out. I do believe that there was some sort of mutual understanding that what happened was uncalled for and the two parties managed to sort things out. If you want to stop racing because of someone elses problems, well i bid you a fare well. These kind of things happen, and you dont have the right to judge how Overgeared delt with it. If you think you can run a better club, go ahead. I dont know what picture your looking at, but the overall picture i see, is clubs are growing bigger and better and drivers are getting faster. Not sure what gave you the idea that this hobby isnt growing, but being that im heavily involved in on road and off road racing and have raced or talked to almost every person involved in racing in the lower mainland, rest assure, the hobby is doing just fine. This wont be the first or last time you see tempers flare. It happens in all competitive sports, F1, NASCAR, Hockey etc. Just because you look at my RC car and see a toy doesnt mean that i see it that way too. I race with the same intencity as guys that race the big cars. And its only human nature to be competitive. Do i agree with what happened???? No, not at all. But you dont see me pointing fingers at anyone trying to pass the blame because of some peoples poor judgment. Overgeared felt that having both sides come to a mutual agreement was the appropriate way to deal with the situation and i will back them all the way on there decision.

I'll take 2 stock servo savers, if it's not too late, and as long as it comes with that horseshoe piece. THANKS!

I think Overgeared handled it quite well. I hope they all come back to race next time. Everyone has a bad day.

As for your information. This issue was dealt right away professionally with both parties away from all the racers and resolved.

Both parties had apologized and shook on it.

OGR do not tolerate any bad mouthing or bad rumors.
Fun is the foremost to the hobby.
There shall be no more discussion on this issue as it has been resolved!!

Like to Thank all of the guys that had stayed and helped out tearing the track on Saturday.
We actually got out in time and had 3 qualifiers down.
Hopefully, next one we can do the same or better.

Now that we don't have house transponder, the racing is much more smoother.

I know some of you can't afford spending extra's for a new PT.
It was brought to my attention that MRT sells PT for almost half the price.
We all can look into getting these if we have a bunch of people who wants them. Probably be best to start a group buy.

Once you have it, you will never think of the house transponder again.

Mini-mini-mini. Isn't this suppose to be a fun class to start..haa.haa..
Motor issues again...Ryan's mini was hooked. He's not scrubbing speed in corners and he's driving consistently. I can't see him being lighter ..lol..Just kidding buddy.

This is just a fun point series. If you want to cheat,I can tell you, one day you be caught and what's the point of cheating. Win and get DQ so we can call you a sore looser?

Practice your lines and stay away from traffic..that could be your way to win.
Stop worrying about illegal silver cans. Let us catch the cheaters..haa.haa.
Have fun.!!

FUn..fun..fun..that's what we want to see in the hobby. There's all these young or older generation of people had seen what the hobby is all about.
Fun...if it's not fun for you, this hobby is not for you. time to move on.

LOLLOL Yea i don't think the "Mini" could get any lighter .....as for me i'm workin on it. LOL

Even if someone dosn't have a PT dosn't mean they wont be counted. During a Mini race I manualy counted 2 cars on the keyboard. It's not as acurate as a PT but it worked and I don't mind doing it once in awhile. Back in tha day we used to count 5 Mod 1/12 by the keyboard. A couple Mini's is nothing. I also didn't mind helping out at the computer when needed, let me know and you guys can have some time to work on your cars if you need it.

And Crazy these are some great words of wisdom, I AGREE.

Trust me, out of 20 drivers, the only one that doesnt have an excuse or a complaint is the winner. that leaves 19 to make up excuse as to why you won or they lost. Just keep doing what your doing and dont pay attention to the whinners.

And Chris I think you sparked pretty good interest in the F1 cars by bringing yours out. You have a few guys looking into Kits (Myself included) for next Indoor season. @ the NEW Track
