Default Is there a track in saskatoon?

Hey peoples. Just wondering if there was a track in saskatoon? Going to be headed there for the weekend of July 5 and 6, and was curious to see about a track in saskatoon, and possiblt some race info if any races are being held that weekend.

thanx
Tim

Wow - you found an old thread Budz!

I'm going to try and get out to the track this afternoon to snap some new updated pics.

We've tweaked a few corners/jumps and the track surface has become very sticky when damp now that the clay/dirt is mixing up.

Mickey - we will have some guys out at the track for the weekend you're in town...

But our big races are the Hobbyworld Classic (June 27, 28 & 29th) plus the Cruise Weekend Shaker - Aug 22, 23 & 24th.

The August race is typically our most attended as the city of Saskatoon goes nuts with classic cars and racing.

Default Pics!

Pics as promised!

We've got some fine tuning to do but essentially this is the 2008 track layout.

Thanx for the info guys. Track looks real good. Looks like I will be able to race that sunday. Not going to interfere with family plans. In fact I think some of my family will come and watch.

So after looking at the pics, wondering a couple things.
1 Is the pit area outside the fenced area? I have a 10'X10' tent. I hope I will be able to set it up and get some shade.
2 Is there a decent veiwing area for spectators?
3 What kinda of rotation are you running? 5 min warm up with 5 min qualys? what typicaly run for mains? 20 mins?
4 Lastly do you have a class for 1/10 4WD Electric buggy?

I can only make the one race as that is the only weekend I will be in Saskatoon. I Race in Edmonton though, and any of you guys are more that welcome to come check it out and race.

Thanx again for the info guys.
Tim
