PM have the TC Premount tires from sorex and gravity, both work great for TC.

For F1 you want -
#PS-0571 Pit Shumizu (Fronts)
#PS-0575 Pit Shumizu (Rear)
And these can be purchased at TQracing.com. Inserts aren't a big deal, you can get the Tuning Haus front inserts, but I doubt it makes a difference. These require a set of wheels as they are not premounts.

If you got kens car, I have a feeling he already has this tire combo, so you might be good to go.

Hi Joe, I have only used Sorex, but I can see that both work well. I know Jim C was saying he liked the gravity. Either way, get a set and tune to them. Maybe Jim C or someone who has used both can chime in.

Default Race track etiquette

Hey guys

I would like to go over some etiquette for when guys are around the race track. I have noticed guys taking their time when walking around on the track. We cannot have guys walking across the track inspecting their broken car or what have you. It is not good for your ankles nor the car when it hits your feet at full speed at the end of the straight.

So lets all help save everyone's feet and cars. If you need to go onto the race track to get your car, don't doddle. We can inspect our cars or chat with others after we get into the pits.

Onto other thoughts! I would like to see mini come back as it is a good class to drive for experienced drivers, as well as it is a great class for new drivers. We can't force a class back into being popular, but we can do what we can to help. This is where I would like some feedback from you guys. Why has mini faded away? What has discouraged drivers to stop racing it? What could change to get peoples interests back in it?

I will start with my thoughts. There is only one reason I stopped driving it. The racing was way too rough. It seemed like a basher class. I would consider racing it again if the class was taken seriously instead of a hack show. My opinions.

Thanks everyone!

Now that we are getting more people turning out and there's more than 4 heats, I'm definitely down for mini action.

I'll have my mini ready on Friday.

My apologies if I'm responsible for this. I don't move too fast!

I believe it goes without saying that I'll bring at least two.

As for why the class declined: Lots of reasons and I've probably talked your ears off about it already, but who cares, because MINI!

IMHO Mini was at its strongest when it was all about the laughs and good times. Things like starting the finals backwards, or who can hit Ivan the most were reasons I thoroughly enjoyed Mini. The cars are strong, lasted forever (unless your Walter!) If we bring back the fun, I'm sure it'll resurge. If you enforce it as a serious class, its just another TC class really. But slower.

F1 is kind of the same way Mini was. Just Huge fun. Racing is amazing (when we get them to handle) and none of us sweat the crashes, especially on the main straight, although we are all trying to avoid them. The leader waits for someone to race with, and everyone has a good time. I hope it continues and everyone keeps smiling and having fun
