Hey folks,

We have about four guys who are interested in coming from Winnipeg. We where at the Regina leg and had a blast. What size of turnout are you expecting for your race now that your are on the same weekend as Kelowna?

Warren, the Calgary race always gets a good turnout......the BC guys rarely come out and support the Calgary races even though some of the Alberta guys go to their races.....the Kelowna race will not affect us at all.

Good to hear,

Would you expect the same turnout that we had in Regina?

Awesome weekend of racing......a huge thanks to all of the racers that pitched in to make this race happen. Ryan Mate did a great job running the races and kept everyone inline. Also a huge thanks to the sponsors; PMHobbycraft for the great draw prizes, CanwestRC, Model Land and Dekelz. I also donated a Mad Scientist tuned stock motor for the winner of the lowest stock main- Sonya Phillips.
I think everyone had a good time and I feal that it was a good close to a great season of racing. I would also like to thank everyone for their input at the WCICS series meeting before the mains. I will put everything in a legible format and post the changes for next season in the WCICS 2008/2009 series thread....please give me a couple of days to get things organized.
Also thanks to Kevin and Sonya for doing the points so that we could hand out the year end trophies.....I think that all of the reps made a good decision in adding this feature at the last minute.
Thanks.....Dwayne Flodell

There was a mess up buddy. You gave $$ to Stu, and Kev/SonYa gave $$ to Ryan for me as well. So I owe someone in Sask there some $$. Give me a PM with your phone #. Totally my bad, I shoulda had better communication with ya.

Hey Calgary thanks for putting on a great race! Sonya and I had fun.....I repeat Sonya....Dwayne change the spelling of her name before she notices and she gives you the evil eye about the way you spelled it LMAO.
Standings have been updated on the WCIC Web site so check them out if you want to see where you finished in the series standings.

In case it is helpful, here's my memory of what we came up with yesterday. Note that these shouldn't be taken as the official rules.

1. Touring Mod is cancelled
2. Touring 13.5t is cancelled
3. 17.5t motors are allowed in stock class with 27t motors
4. 13.5t motors are allowed in superstock class with 19t motors
5. Lithium batteries are allowed in touring car classes. All ROAR weight and lithium safety rules apply (charge bag, approved by ROAR lipos only).
6. Both touring car classes are rubber tire only. Tire is a spec tire. With your entry in a TC class you will also be buying a set of WCICS spec rubber tires (2 TC classes --> 2 sets). You have to use that set all weekend. The only switching of tires allowed is by the same racer between his/her stock and superstock tire sets. The spec tire will be announced in a few months.

My only question is, is lipo allowed in GT class?
