Default N.W. Hobby Show Race

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to this thread going on this EVENT.....

2008 Little Chill @ Monroe


Where:
The NW Model Hobby Expo
Saturday and Sunday @ Monroe County Fairgrounds
14405 179th Ave Se
Monroe, WA 98272

When:
Feb 9 & 10 - 2008

Official Classes:
Touring Sedan Modified Foam (this includes 5cell brushless)
Touring Sedan 19T/10.5 Foam (If we can run these as separate we will)
Touring Sedan Stock/13.5 Foam (If we can run these as separate we will)
GT-3 Rubber
1/12 scale 19T

Proposed classes:...need 8 entries to run

Mini's
F103GT
Oval Pan Cars

Misc Info:
The entry fee for the race ($40) will include entry into the Hobby Show. Make your plans now to attend. It's gonna be a great time.

Heads Up qualifying/starts
Single Mains
Concourse Award for best of show

Set-up will be done Friday
Open practice on Friday untill
Saturday 3 qualifiers
Sunday 1 Last chance qualifier and Mains to follow, with Awards to be done by 4pm

If you plan on attending please post here.
Any questions please post them here as well.

Hope some of you guy's can make it down to the states to race with us.

Doug, I am going to make the race in Pasco in december......there seems to be quite a few races jan-march, but I will see about making it down for that one aswell....just the timing is bad in feb...see you in december.

Rob...just checked on mapquest...looks to be almost 12 hours well 3 past chilliwack.....so 8 and a bit to chilliwack and just under 2 hours from there with me driving and you hanging onto the dash again!.....so less than 10hrs should be safe

Hey Doug,

I am goona try and wrangle up the two mikes and maybe keith, jesse and them. I would like to come down and it is a short drive all things considered. Also if i remember correctly hotels are pretty cheap in the area.

PS. I promise to only run two classes so I am no holding you up this time!!


PPS. Dwayne try and drag greg mills out again, it woul be fun to run with the two of you as always.

LOL that poor dash ..... doesnt seem that bad for a trip i think there is a weekend in between that and the regina race even

Just wondering on race format, number of entries, etc... you were saying something about it being more of a fun race than a trophy race?

some talk of a figure 8 race and fun stuff like that maybe some caravan races
