So is there gonna be a club race on December 1st?
Also, are brushless allowed in 27T and 19T classes?

Yes we want to run the mini class. We have 4 mini in our group and would love to start a mini class.
As for brushless. I am running mainly 1/12 this season, and I am thinking of running in either stock or 19T class. Would a Novak 13.5T or 10.5T be legal to race in stock and 19T class?

So will I be able to run brushless in 1/12 in stock or 19T?

I'm always available for mini!
And I'd be cool with running my f201 along with pan.

hey man, if you want to run brushless in 1/12scale the 13.5 would be your best bet and that would put you into the 12scale 19T class....yes i know the 10.5 is supposed to be the equal to the 19T brushed . But believe me the 13.5 is way more than u need. and if by any chance you are obviously more faster than the whole field, then brushless will not be allowed at the next club race for 12scale.

Don't forget, OGR, everyone is more than welcome at the IROCC track if you'd like to get some 1/12 track time in between races. I live just by the ferry (a few others out in this neck of the woods, too) and could certainly pick up a walk-on or two. BigDaddyT did this earlier in the month. Caught the 1PM sailing this way as a walk on, joined us for racing and pizza, spent the night billetted, and then headed home on Sunday AM as a walk-on. Shoot us a PM if interested!

Hi, Guys.
As Matt mentioned we are exclusively 1/12 stock only - one of the key decisions that has held our club together over the years. Any ROAR legal stock motor will do. There are roughly 25-30 of us on any given night. We all meet for setup at 3:30 at the Boys and Girls Club of Victoria on Yates Street where we store our carpet and track materials. We ALL setup the track typically in a 45 minute period, have 30-45 minutes open practice, then the first heat hits the line at 5 PM.
We are known for running very tight 1/12 tracks. We have 6 foot lanes on three rolls of carpet - basically a full basketball court size. Laptimes are generally in the 13.5+ sec range. We run 8 minute races with approximately 3-5 minutes in between. All races are heads up starts with reverse order gridding for the heats. For the mains we have double bumps. Batteries are capped at 4300mAh at this point until the club decides otherwise.
Generally you wouldn't need to bring a table or chair if you are coming from the mainland. Although we bring our own, we'd make sure that you're covered (if you give us a heads up) so that you don't have to worry about that side of things. However, an extension cord and/or power bar is a good idea.
We must exit the building no later than 11:00. Typically we are done well before then, we tear down the track VERY quickly and then hang around for draw prizes (yes, free draws for parts, pizza etc each weekend) and then a group of 12-20 of us head out for Pizza at BP - one of our great sponsors.
Long night, but good guys and a casual atmosphere. Chat with BigDaddyT about his experience and he can let you know what to consider if need be.
Hope to see you there some time.
See you at the races.
Phil

SInce the race end at 11 we wouldnt be able to catch the ferry home. Is there anywhere we could stay for the night? If we come it would probably be a group of 3 or 4.
