Hey there Kelowna race fans. Time to start a new thread for all the RC Race action in Kelowna and area.

I am finalizing the schedule for this winter indoor season. We have a new location on the westside (details to follow)

I have talked to Rob S. and we are going to have the enduro race this year on September 30.

That's assume, soon as I move into Kelowna you decide to race on this side of the bridge. Oh well, guess we'll have to still tackle it every couple weekends.

Anyone need a driver for the Enduro? I'm also pretty fast in the pits too. Would love to get a few laps on with a Truggy and see just how fast they go.

Don't forget to come race in Kamloops over the next few weeks to get some laps in. Also they are having the Fall Classic Touring Car race there is a few weeks if some of you want an early crack at onroad. Check out the thread.

I am working out the fine points of the race day. I would like to combine it with a fun day for electric off road as well.

The race will be 3hours and we will be doing a qualifiers to set up race order. I will be back soon with final details.

I am going to need some help getting the track ready. I am looking at Saturday to spray the track. Just one or two volunteers would be great.

how about each team has someone run an electric truck to represent his team, we run a five minute electric heat and that would determine the starting positions for the nitro cars?

In a 3hr race who cares were you start, do a lemans start were the drivers run to the stand and you start your car in the pits with no warm up

All i have to say is " 2 lanes into Kelowna, 1 lane out" at 5pm when I'm trying to get home...

I think the electric truck qualifying for the Enduro is a great idea...so whoever wants TQ better snap me up quick

Actually, I'm happy with the LeMans style start, but maybe let the trucks have their warm up etc, but make the drivers run to the stand...then walk orderly up the stairs...

Racing in kamloops this Sunday. Off and onroad.

Hey Jason,

Just curious if you see all that stuff they are doing to the north side of the bridge. Correct me if I am wrong but that is a NEW bridge they are putting up right?? LOL

The Enduro is a 3 hour race, I believe we can fit some electric races in the day and make it a full day of racing. I just haven't figured out how I am going to do it yet. I will have it figured out soon. Plenty of ideas and feedback will be appriciated.

Hey Enduro Racer,

Game on, but if you want to have a race we are going to need some help over the next few weeks. We are behind on the weeds.

Thanks To Shawn Ruley for his help today, we got a layer of spray on the track, but we are definately going to need some grunt work to get it ready for a race. The weeds are big enough they are easy to grab and pull up so it shouldn't take long to get er done.

I would like to get at least 6 guys together next weekend, Sat or Sun depending on everyone schedle for only 2 hours MAX!! If we focus and get at it we will have the track ready in no time. Please call me at 859-1455 to let me know if you can help out.

This is a volunteer based sport so if there is not enough participation there will not be a race. I know you guys will come through though.
