OK guys......only a couple more days until the race......all of the times and schedule are on the race flier at the top of the thread. Looks like stock electric and 19turn electric are going to be the 2 biggest classes. Show up early to get some practice laps in and get your pit space set up. The surface will be clean and sprayed with grape soda so the traction should be great. If anyone has any questions or needs better directions to the track give me a call @630-3285.
Remember to bring long extension cords, table and chair and a pit tent....it is going to be hot and sunny so bring the sunscreen

I'm in for Stock and 19T.

I'm not too familiar with Airdrie's layout, can you maybe post directions from Hwy 2 Northbound for all us coming from that way.

Anyone who is planning on attending this event should get their entry forms in soon. Or at least express their intentions of coming so that the hard working chaps have an idea of the kind of numbers they need to cater for and their budget. This is the only time this year that most canadians will have the opportunity to pit their R/C wit against the likes of Barry Baker or Todd Hodge on Canadian Soil. The track Facility is great and the organization of the event is world class. There is no spec tire so you have the opportunity to run your fave shoes and save some cash too. Support the event being held at one of North Americas Finest On Road tracks.

Hay guys....everything is looking good for sunday.......a few of us are picking up the drivers stand and track gear saturday afternoon around 1:30-2:00 from the CARCAR track. We are also doing some track cleaning and prep work in Airdrie after we grab the stuff. If anyone wants to lend a hand let me know. It all looks good and I hope to see a great turnout.

Terry....enjoy the champ car race.
Eddie and I just finished cleaning the track and laying out the chalk lines for setup sunday.........the layout looks pretty good.....should be nice and fast with some great passing spots in the corners. We also got the drivers stand for sunday aswell so the view of the track should be good....we will set it up with the sun at our backs......see you guys there

Huge thankyou to Dwayne, Kerry and the others who helped to set this race meet up. The track was alot of fun (after the dots were painted lol) Pity we didnt get to run the nitro and 19t finals, but we all know you would have earnt a well deserved second in 19t Dwayne lol. next time buddy, next time. I didnt mind the harsh hot weather, but the sand storm and wind, not so much. Our tent cover is trashed, but you get what u pay for eh lol. The track location, surface and surrounding area was awesome for a race day. Thanks again guys
