thought i would start a thread regarding the driven to perform event being held at the olympic oval on sat. june 10 2006. this is a one day indoor electric event. we started the ball rolling last year and would like to build on its success. the classes that we will being run are touring stock, touring 19t and 1/12 stock if we have enough entrants. i encourage everyone to attend and have fun and help promote r/c in calgary. there will be a $10 race fee and you can run as many classes as you would like. all proceeds will go back into the rebuilding fund. please use this forum as a pre registration so we can get a count of how many people will be attending or you can send me a PM with your intentions. i will post more information as it becomes available. we will be setting up on the friday night. should be an awesome event. come down and support r/c or pop by and watch the action, with the entry fee you will get access to the show without paying the entrance fee. hope you all can make it.

Good news guys.....looks like the Edmonton boys are going to make a showing on June 10th. We had a blast at their first outdoor race of the season and the Edmonton club is definately showing their support for the carcar clubs losses.....I would like to personally thank Terry Pickerell and the rest of the NASCAR club for their donations of$$ and materials.

Hey kerry, lend me a 19t, then I can race all classes, and you can marshall for me.... Sound like a good idea right?! lol

Ill be bringing some display cars for a table for the passing crowd. Lets get a couple of killer displays to promote RC in Calgary and draw people over to the racing Any show bodies, bring them down.
