Hi Guys,
I just checked the Flyer of the race on the 23rd and I have a question.
Is there a particular reason that you not offer a 13.5 and mod 1/12 class.

Im sure if there is enough people they will add a 13.5 class. Get at least 5 entries and im sure they will cater to it.

I have permission from the owner to talk about the track here, but i am not the official voice. As the other guy mentioned we will cater to what ever shows up. Also keep in mind that "702 RC raceway" is formally a clay off-road track, so as off-roaders we are all under a huge learning curve to bring a top notch facility to both sides of the racing spectrum. So come on out and help us learn and grow.

We finally have some jumps ready to go and are back to the original race schedule with newly added on-road days.

Additional jumps are being built and will be added as soon as they are completed. I have included a pic below.

Here is the current daily schedule.

Sunday - Off-road club racing
Monday - Closed
Tuesday - On-road practice
Wednesday - Off-road club racing
Thursday - Off-road practice
Friday - Off-road club racing
Saturday On-road club racing

Looks like a potential 10-15 onroad racers coming up from TQ RC Racing track in So Cal for the race on the 23rd. Many are planning to come up on Friday to practice for the Saturday race so I do hope they change the 22nd to an on-road practice day instead of an off-road race.

I'm talking to a few folks who are planning to come race on the 23rd... 1/2 feel that the track opens at 10AM on Sat 23rd and the other 1/2 say noon... Which one is it ?

For the 23rd we will be open at 10am, racing starts at noon. Friday the 22nd will be all day practice from noon till 9pm.

Man, I had a great time... the track was consistent , great grip level... the drivers stand was up high which was nice... most drivers stands I'm used to are lower in SoCal... The place had a family feel about it, everyone was super friendly ... But the one thing I hated was that it's 4 hours from my house I'm looking forward to coming back...

Thanks for coming out!! I too had a great time. It's too bad I couldn't put faces to usernames, except panda... Panda was obvious! I guess it didn't help that I didn't mention who I was either.... But I did win the novice class!!

would like to say THANK YOU !! to everybody at 702 ,,, I had a great time meeting all of the staff and really enjoyed driving on a diffrent carpet,, I look foward to getting back there to run again ...

had a blast this weekend running at this track...got to see old friends and got to meet new friends....cant wait to go back!!
