Default rule / guideline update

Drivers are not allowed to stand on any device on the drivers stand that brings there waist level above the railing height. Should a shorter driver need to be elevated to see over the railing a step stool may be used however at no time should there waist be above the railing. Drivers may not use milk crates,5 gallon buckets or the like. Race Director has the final say as safety comes first. Failure to abide by this will result in a 1 lap penalty or DQ.

The use of traction control sensing devices, active suspension devices, and steering control devices aided by gyroscopes or accelerometers (G-force sensors) of any kind is strictly prohibited. Sensors may be used for the purpose of passive data recording but not for adjusting the performance of the vehicle while in motion.

thanks

Will an 1/8th scale electric class be allowed if some show up?

it's not us, it's the other racers using these devices to aid with their driving. that's not fare to others. learn to drive by taking your finger off the trigger, use the brake and turn the wheel.

thanks

Why does the club insist on re-building the off-road track themselves when there are some professionals out there that can do a re-build quicker, better, and faster. Just kind of curious.

Never seen an off-roader use a gyro. That sucks you have to post that.

$$$$$$$$$$

we got a lot of wood donated for the projects. the track boards have not been replaced in many years and are very rotted out. this is stuff that has to be done so the general public and non members have somewhere to play with their R/C toys. we the club support that site and enjoy pitching in to help out.

thanks
bill

Attention Racers,

Reminder to pre-register and send in your entry, PM BILLSBOAT, or email [email protected] your information.

We need the information below for valid registration...
Full Name
Class
Personal Transponder (if available)
T-shirt Size

You do not have to pay until the day of the race. Only pre-registered racers will have a guaranteed t-shirt size. Registration fees on race day will go up, so take advantage of registering early. Again, this helps with ordering the t-shirts and the race program.

We are putting very hard efforts to making this another successful race! This is our 40th Anniversary being a club and would like for you to come out and have fun!

"Remember, a club is only as strong as it's members..."

Thank you,
