My condolences to the Lyman family.
I had the opportunity to meet Dennis first outside of RC.
He was very passionate about his profession as well as his hobbies.
I will never forget the day he showed me his modded PS2 controller which was set up like a RC controller.

Dennis used to be there religiously every second Sunday of the month at La Mirada Raceway. He had his signature Blue and yellow paintscheme and noticed right away he was on the track. I loved that he built his own prototype chassis just like the Sedan front end and pancar rear axle. He was always kind hearted and always friendly and helpfull at the track. He will be missed. We will have a moment of silence for Dennis next Sunday at race day. Dennis is smiling at us now im sure.

The Memorial race for Dennis is going to be at Cal Raceway in Orange. The date should be middle of June. I will keep you informed.

Dennis's memorial race will be Saturday June 14th at Cal Raceway. The cost per class will be $10.00 and all $ will go to Dennis's family. Please let me know if you can make it.

I heard this news when I was in Austria. I was so shocked as i didn't know he was in that critical situation. He will be definitely missed. R.I.P Dennis

deven white came with the same idea with the mini class i forgot the f1 class it is up to cb all i want to is everyone is to have fun could is to have an open class and a stock class thank you mr lightfoot for the f1 open class idea i am for it i know dennis would like that would be any rules ? maybe i puttogather the 2 motor mini that dennis made then he gave it to me

The second UF1 race of the summer series scheduled for June 14 will be canceled out of respect for Dennis, a long time F1 driver and UF1 participant.
Hope to see some of the regular UF1 guys dusting of your F103's and stocking up on sunscreen and foam tires.
