Did anyone here race/run their RC back in the early 90s? I would love to see if anyone out there have a few old photos they can scan and post here... I've always wondered what happened to track owner...

i'm not sure about Santa Fe Spring but, Charlie Barnes used to run a parking lot race in LaMirada back in the 90s. Charlie is now running Cal Raceway/OC Circuit. I don't have any photos.

Talk about the 90's......I believe the owner name was Russ. Fun times racing there.

Russ was his name. I ran there in 90 - 93ish. I still have my 25 year old RC10 Team Car, and an RC10 Cadillac which is a few years older. I don't remember anyone having many cameras with my guys I ran with but I'd like to try and find some.

I remember that place!! Oh man, my high school days were spent there. I still have some of my old Losi off road stuff sitting around from running there!! Sadly, no photos though.

Wasn't it ran by a father and daughter in like a warehouse? If that was it, I raced there.

Yeah. Right off the the corner of Carmenita and imperial hwy. I used to catch the bus from Compton to race there.

I was cleaning out some old paperwork in my garage last weekend and I ran across this flier for The Race Place.
Although I only raced there maybe 10 times, always had a good time there.
