GLEN HELEN RC RACEWAY CA UPDATE
JUST A REMINDER!!
GLEN HELEN RC RACEWAY IS THE MOST VERSITLE RC FACILITY IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. WE HAVE 1/5&1/8 OFF ROAD TRACK, A 1/10 OFF ROAD WITH TWO 30 FOOT LOOPS UP THE SIDE OF A SMALL MOUNTAIN, A ROCK RACING COURSE (VERY POPULAR), A DIRT OVAL EXCELLENT FOR ALL SCALES AND THE AWESOME SAND DRAG STRIP.
WE WANT YOU TO TRY THEM OUT THIS WEEKEND SO WE ARE OFFERING 2 FOR 1 PRACTICE FEE FOR 1/10 AND 1/8 SCALES. BRING THE FAMILY FOR AN INEXPENSIVE FUN DAY AT THE TRACK. $10 FOR TWO DRIVERS AND YOU CAN RUN ON ANY TRACK, ALL DAY, EXCEPT THE DRAG STRIP.
TRACK HOURS FOR PRACTICE THIS WEEK:
SEPTEMBER 26TH-29TH
THURSDAY-FRIDAY 3PM TO DARK – ALL TRACKS OPEN
SATURDAY- SUNDAY 9AM TO 5PM - ALL TRACKS OPEN.
Practice fee $10 all scales except 1/5TH $15. Run on all tracks for one practice fee.
If you haven’t taken the opportunity to run on our 1/10 scale track you are missing out on a real thrill and challenge. We just completed a rebuild but not to worry we still have the double loops 30 feet up the side of a small mountain.
OUR NEW “GIANT RC SERVICE CENTER” IS OPEN.

BARTOLONE RACING WILL BE PROVIDING TROPHIES FOR 1ST, 2ND, 3RD IN THE 3 LARGE SCALE CLASSES.
$20 entry fee for 1/10, 1/8. WE ENCOURAGE 1/8, 1/10 ELECTRIC, NITRO TO COME OUT AND TRY THIS.

THE BEST LARGE SCALE NATIONALS EVER!
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR THE 2013 LARGE SCALE NATIONALS PRESENTED BY HORIZON HOBBY/LOSI!
The first thing we are doing is a complete track rebuild utilizing the space where the 1/10 scale track now sits and yes we are going to climb the GIANT RC mountain. The track area will cover over 35,000 square feet. The drivers stand will be moved to the east side of the track. This is a major project and we are going to need some help from the 1/5 scale community. We have the steel and canopy to cover the drivers stand once it is moved. We also have a welder lined up to build the canopy frame. What we do need is more lane divider tubing, ¾ inch plywood, 2x4’s, paint, 150 feet of 6 inch drain pipe and always need more clean fill dirt. We plan to start on October 28th A lot of you have offered to help in the past and now is the time as we can use all the help we can get. You do not have to have a trade to help, if your hands fit a shovel or rake you are in. Weekdays or weekend.

QUALIFIERS
We are expecting more entries this year. If we have time we will run additional qualifiers. This decision will not be made until Saturday, Nov 9th.
