ATTENTION!!!
There will be NO racing or practice at the track this weekend at all. The rain and weather have nothing to do with it, as the track is in great shape. It soaked in ALL that rain with not one puddle.
I need to get the fencing installed around the track, and work on getting the power transformer pad and pole in place for SDG&E.
I will be spreading more asphalt grinds in areas in prep for the final asphalt. I will also be adding DG to the parking area.
I will be enclosing the drivers stand rail and handrail up to it.
In short, there are many things that are being worked on by Beav, Victor, Steve, Vinny and others.
All of this work, we have been trying to do while people are practicing and or otherwise using the track. It is not the way to get things finished. So, in hopes of having the best place possible, as quick as possible, there needs to be no using the track until then. Some of the things like fencing, and completed railing are a must before we play.. The other things are just a must to make our playday more enjoyable.
My apologies to all those who were hoping to race this weekend. This was not an easy decision for me, but I feel it is in our best interest for a better product for all next time.
Thank you, and please stay tuned as to the progress made and the next available day for track use.
PS.. I would like to say a special thanks to greg hughes(rcadick) for the handrail work last sun am.. you were a lifesaver bro
