Track is Good to go!
Schedule:
6:00am Gates Open
7:00am Sign Ups/Check In
9:00am Concourse
9:30am Qualifying
3:00pm Mains
4:30pm Drift Track Opens
6:00pm Concourse
10:00pm Track Close
Drivers will be pitted closes to the Main Gate of the event. Make sure you enter though gate 4 off of Fairview and Arlington. We will be the 1st thing you see once you are inside. See you all there Bright and Early!

Japan Cup 2011 results
Big Thankyou to everyone who came! Who would have thought we would have a HAIL STORM in the morning?
Big Thankyou to Ito and Charles and Doug, The Secaras and Duhans, Calvin and Dennis for helping to dry the track.
We had 4 heats but still managed to woo the crowd with our great battles and show of skills!
Congats to:
Bill Secara for winning Rookie class
Hiro Kasuya for winning F1
Mike Rydwell for winning GT10
Hayato Matsuzaki for winning Mod Sedan.
We are already planning out Japan Cup 2012 and have BIGGER and BETTER plans for it! we will post pics Soon!

Had a great time... When we were all huddled under the canopies early this morning engulfed in a freakish violent Hail Storm, I was 100% sure I was going home and the day was done... who would have guessed a few hours later we would all be racing under a bright sunny sky eating octopus balls

Lighting,Thunder, Rain, and HAIL !!!!
alittle rain never stops the roadrunners from racing. saturday at the japan cup 2011, we had lighting, thunder, rain, alot of rain, and hail - yes HAIL!
all in about 30 minutes, then more rain. we moved the tables to the middle of the tents, but i forgot my storage totes under the edge of the tent - i had about 3 inches of the wet stuff inside my totes. i washed all my extra tires and spare parts. my spare charger was in the bottom of one box, completely under water, along with some goldfish. while we waited for the rain to stop and the track to dry, i was able to clean and dry off ALL my wet stuff. had a great time racing, turned out to be a great day.
big thanks to charlie barns and the OC guys for putting on a great race. big crowds of people watching us race.

Great job guys on hosting and racing. Excellent venue for showcasing the hobby. Great to see a wall of spectators getting into watching our races. I think you guys put on a great show. I have to point out I really miss racing these medium sized tracks like todays layout. Definitely more exciting as a driver with the chicanes, switch backs and traffic 
I hope we can do more layouts like this.

Thank you Charlie for getting us out and racing here today! Me and my family had a great time! We're already looking forward to next years Japan Cup!
Also big props to the guys and gals who got the track dried up and ready for action!
