Are there any restrictions on the user of traction compounds.

I use Sticky Kicks when racing at OCRC as it emits no fumes, unlike buggy grip, so you can apply it indoors

They kept it to 5 minutes on Wednesday, in the interest of getting everyone out of there at a decent hour. Not sure what's in store for Fri/Sat.

Im here right now for Friday Night racing! The dirt has packed down nicely. When the dirt was loamy on the 15th, I used Proline Calibers M3's on my TQ Racing SX10 4wd with good traction. Tonight I'm using Proline Hole Shots M3 and the traction is really excellent. About to run the first qualifier and I'm getting giddy.

Thanks for the update. I guess its inevitable that it's going to become a hardpack like ocrc/wcrc.

FYI, I suspect most of the info about it will end up on socalrc (which is mostly san diego people), and they just opened up a subforum for it as well to keep it organized.

With that said, some of are planning on bringing enough stadium trucks out to have our own class next wednesday.... so bring yours!

Track is working in nicely with some minor maintenance. clay tires seem to be hooking up as well.

what's up. i made a nice video of the track so everyone can check it out. all the footage is over a week old. before you pass judgment of the track, keep in mind that the track isn't even 10 days old from when most of this film was captured. there have already been some changes done to the layout of the track, and some racers are already running gold bar codes and m4 suburbs with sucess.

be sure to watch all my films in HD.

i hope you guys all enjoy it....

After being nailed by a 1/8th buggy in my Jammin during practice the first race night I decided to get another 8th scale for some buggy fun. I picked up a hot Bodies VE8 since I can convert it over using the Tekno V4 chassis setup later if I decided to go that way. Anything I need to go about this buggy for use at SDRC? Running 4s with a Tekin Rx8 and need advice on a motor. I have it down to a T1 1900 or 2050. I want to be able to race at WCRC/OCRC still with the same motor if I can if that helps in the choice.
