awesome. I'm from indian wells [currently living in Moreno Valley] and go back to visit my parents on the weekends a lot, so this works out perfectly for me . Might come check this out sometime. I've been out of hte hobby for almost 10 years; but i used to race a ton at Desert Hobbies. In fact, We lived literally right across the street from the track/store since they opened, and well past when they shut down shop.

Great, I would say about 1/2 of the racers have SC trucks. It's nice that you can run a stock SC car and have no issues with traction. My stock Blitz runs great on this track.

I run a 4wd Slash which is not even remotely stock. Would I have to stick on some 1/8 scale rim/tires and run with the buggies?

Since we are not racing yet, it doesn't even matter. But when we do start, you will still be in the 4wd SC class.

23 racers Saturday and 12 Sunday.

Took a great picture from the hiking trail above the track to show how nice of an area the track is in.

Website updated.

http://www.palmdesertrcraceway.com/

We have been getting good turnouts as of lately, 20-30 racers on Saturday and 10-20 racers on Sunday. Thank you to all who came out!

Practice is Saturday and Sunday as usual, but we are getting 4-5 more EZups for shade!

The handicap drivers stand has been built and approved by the city, so the track is officially open to the public! Pictures of the ramp are on the Pictures/Video link on the website.

We are considering putting in a new layout within the next few weeks, more information on that later!

Good, your dad is at the track every other weekend or so with your Slash you gave him. There is 4 water faucets-1 is to the right of the container's ramp to the drivers stand, 1 is by the electrical box, 1 is by the port-a-potty, and the other one is by the dug out section in the middle of the track on the fence. But with the glue treatment the water doesnt penetrate so we only water when we rebuild the track.
