There is Ground Control in Yucca Valley which is about 20-30 minutes away from 29. They will tell you about all the backyard tracks in Yucca/29 palms.

Hey The coachella valley had a great RC store hobby town USA but they went under, there still is uncle dons in Plam Desert but a little pricey. Also there was a Raceway in Plam Desert but the city closed it and it was recntly turned back over to a group of kick ass guys who got the City to let us have track back. But I to am in the military. Just finishing up my deployment to Afghan about 20 days LEFT!!!! OH YEAH!!!! but ill be back in the valley in march and up to tunderAlley around that time also. When do you get to 29? Hope to see you around later man

probably around mid to late summer...I've gotta head out there for career school...a year to learn how to manage comm techs....and will be getting stationed at the stumps after that...wifes military as well....looks like our paths will cross

Mid summer? cool man ill be back in the valley in AUG for 30 days leave, before I go to FT Carson. but yeah man we sould meet up hopefully the track in Plam Desert will be open so we can hang out. I see you Paint Looks Good man keep up the good work and 16 DAYS AND A WAKE UP!!!

what were you thinking of running 1/8, 1/10 if you guys want to race in the in the 29 palm area some of my friends have backyard tracks that are pretty cool, mainly 1/8 scale though, there is one fairly large one that my friend mike built out in 29 in his backyard that is pretty sick, there is also a few that are in yucca valley which is only about 20 min away, look up 247 speedway on youtube, there is usually something going on every weekend here.

I was out there for school back in 95 and spent countless CAX's out there. How nice it would have been to have an R/C car with paddles! PLENTY of places to bash around!
