Congrats Glen and everyone at GLARCRC for 42 years of racing and friendship I hope that 2016 will be a wonderful year for everyone. I have been out of 1/8 scale racing for about 3 & 1/2 years now, but starting to get that itch to get back in so if anyone has a 1/8 scale RTR (or less radio) for sale please shot me a PM.

Thanks and God Bless.

Clint

Evening fellow racers. I happened upon your track today and man do you all put on a good show. Nice setup and group you all have out there. Quick question from someone looking to join in the fun, do you allow the 1/8 Electric versions such as the Serpent Viper 977-e 1/8 Electric On Road Kit? I only have experience racing 1/10 touring cars on the east coast and never tried out the nitro world or 1/8th. So I was looking to stay with electric when bumping up to 1/8th. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Default Track Design Change

Per our conversation Sunday about designing the new track layout, we meet at the track location Sat Feb 27th at 8:00am. We all understand that this is a hobby and that we have the need of working together as a team. Please be there with an open mind and no attitude, keep a cool head, other people will show with their 2cents.

Kenny Watkins and Moto Ishibashii ARE in charge in designing a new layout or cleaning the design that we set up in Feb 6th, Brian Thomas, Chris Verano, and Walter Diaz have been asked to assist. Please let these gentleman do their work, the rest of US will have a voice and all ideas must be considered by Kenny & Moto before we start the setup or during the process of it. We’re not going to start laying boards until we all agree on an initial idea.
If you are not present during the debriefing meeting at 8:00am, don’t expect to have a voice.

The track setup must be finished Saturday to open for practice on Sunday, we need to test Functionality of the layout and be able to do corrections. There will be a practice fee of $15.00 Sunday to offset the cost VHT / Methanol, we just need to let the drivers know to be there SUNDAY ONLY. People that show up will be expected to stay and help to pick up the track.

please consider the following:

· SAFETY…
· try keep the lines at symmetrical width
· Consider the speed that some of the cars have now days
· Consider that we have drivers with all different skills levels and the track must work for everyone
· The amount of material available to create the layout
· The amount of time and effort this will take to lay down and pick up the track

See you all this weekend

G.W.

Default Transponder Question for GLARCRC

just trying to get conformation on what transponder to run at GLA. One person stated both 2 wire and 3 wire can be used and another only the older 2 wire. Anyone can let me know so I can try to find one.

Thanks

Both 2 or 3 wires work. It's the MRT transponders that doesn't.
