I want to also thank Raffell for letting me do this... You rock !

The ONLY reason this is happening is because how cool would it be to have an all day F1 event ? I remember the final race of the RCGT series at Camarillo... it was packed, and it was ONLY RCGT... how cool was that ?

With the recent release of the 15th anniversary F103 , the F104 coming out and the New HPI F10, Corally, TRG, Cross, Tech Racing, Cross Fire Force, Alpha car....... yada, yada... seems like good timing...

In fact I just learned of Alpha Car recently when one of the creators Andy Wallace registered for the race...

Even though I hardly see F1's on the tracks, I know there out there, and I know there are a lot of drives who really enjoy driving them... It's truly a drivers car...

So anyways... let this thread evolve to wherever it goes...

Looking at the link posted, it says any F1 chassis-does that include the F201?
It was a pleasure watching you drive saturday at OCRC in the mini and F1. Good racing between you guys.

Great question and the answer is NO, 2WD only.... I'll change it now...

Darn, missed being the first one to post.

I look forward to this race, I'm sure others will be interested and participate as well. If anyone is out there viewing this post and has never raced or practiced at BCR you will appreciate the quality of the track and how well organized each event is run.

Check it out you won't be disappointed, see you all this Saturday.

Light Foot ... why not add a 4WD F1 class ... I know everything is 2WD now . butt there are still alot of F201's out there that would like to be ran again ...The more F1's the better ....

I thought about that, and I love my F201, but I'll bet you almost everyone who owns a F201 also has a F103... And pulling off an all F1 day will be challenging enough with 4 categories... Diluting it with 2 more ( F201 expert and sportsman ) will just lessen the whole event... maybe see how well it goes this time and then add it next year

Manufacturer support is huge ! Saw the new banner on Tamiya's site .... very cool. Looks like attendance is slowly growing too. Maybe we'll finally see our B-Main Charles
