The on road track is not open yet. It will be next to the offroad track in a seperate bldg. The owners dont take possesion until later this month.
OCRC is around the 605 and 405 Freeways , off of the 405 fwy at Valley View/ Bolsa Chica in Huntington Beach, CA.
From the North of Orange County Take 405 s. exit Valley View/Bolsa head south for 2.5 miles, turn left at Argosy and then make a right on Jason Circle, go to the end of the real short street and hang a right. Its on the left.

Wow, that would be awesome! I'm sure the track will be great even if it is not quite as big. I hear the space isn't that long but may be wider. None the less it will be fun!

So if it is carpet...who's got the Paragon?
The last time I ran carpet was Bob & Jim's RC World in Riverside. Any other old timers out there remember that place?
Roger, I think the thread starter is someone else who is planning on opening a asphalt track. Somehow the conversation/posts was directed towards the OCRC's onroad track that is also coming! None the less, build it and the racers will come!

cant wait for this to open. i would love to have a "late night" practice day like socal did... when the track was open until 11pm. it allowed you to wrench on your car after work, do a few test runs...
great way to get a midweek rc fix.

I was at OCR last night and I heard from a reliable source that the building next store is still being rented so they can not open a track until they leave. Hopefully they will leave by march.

Paco back in the old days Paragon was the sauce to have for carpet. Of course this was old school for foams only back then. Not sure about rubber. For outdoors we used Coppertone (suntan lotion) on the asphalt. For guys back then, the sauce had to include the secret ingredient of wintergreen to be effective. Come on you old school guys chime in. BTW where's B-Ruff?

Ooooohhh..... Chris, you don't know how much I miss those late night practice sessions. Eventhough I have a bigger driveway its still no replacement for being able to get away from the wife and kids and just lose myself in RC wrenching. RC take me away.........
