I was basically just considering foam sedan as a 3'rd class on top of rubber tc and 1/12..
Running mod is just so that I can get used to the powerband, even if the laptimes are practically identical between 13.5 and mod, it still takes a lot more throttle control to get a mod car around the track, this is why I prefer mod on any size/surface track, club racing is just practice for the bigger races

Yep, indoor weekday/weekend racing and practice - kinda good eh!
Well I'm not a "good racer" but we'll help you out Don.
From my earlier inquiries Carpet Rubber will be really similar to Asphalt Rubber, no need for another car ... not that you are lacking in that department!
It'll be great banging doors with ya again Don!

Racebucks and I were treated to a tour of the other side of the wall today.
Track will be approx 75' x 75' and the build out has started. The edge boards are down and a few of the plywood subfloor panels are installed. Carpet guy was there sizing up the task. It's definitely coming along.
On top of everything else this is great news for Xray M18 fans. Midwest & East Coast have been ripping it on carpet with those little things for years and having tons of fun doing it...now we can have a piece of that kit kat bar right here in SoCal
This track is nothing but good news!
Here's a taste of M18s on carpet. scroll down to post # 1016:
Need to get a bunch of 1/12 and foam sedans out there to quicken the pace up on getting the groove laid down. Seems like every year at the IIC the first round of practice is agonizing for rubber tire cars, lol.
Therefore, we need a raceday before the 6'th

Just found this thread and wondering if anyone on here will be running 1/10 pan cars? I am down to setup my pan up for carpet if necessary. Sounds promising.
