Any 200mm body you can fit on there will be fine. There's no body spec to run nitro at Charlie's track. However, for best handling, I would suggest a Protoform P38N or Stratus 3.1

What car are you running? What kind of setup is on there? Spool? Diff? Oneway? Those can have an effect on what shore tires you need to be looking for.

Im runnin a ntc3. Its got diffs. I will look at what oils im runnin in there tonight but i know its heavier up front than in the rear. I have an old stratus body and a s15 body that is fresher lol. I ordered sorex 34r and i believe 28r tires.

If you're interested, I have a bunch of NTC3 parts to sell cheap. Center shafts, diffs, I might even have a spool, and clutches. I'll dig tonight and see all that I have.

BTW, Sorex only comes in 40R, 36R, 32R, 28R and 24R. The ones to get are the 36R. I believe they're available from Speedtech RC pre-mounted and ready to go for about $38/set of four.

If the Stratus body is not too beat-up, run that. However the S15 body is not bad either. Just make sure you have a good sized lexan wing on the back. I don't think the plastic drifter wing sets will do at all.

You're in good hands at Charlie's track. Its not super competitive unless everyone wants it to be that way. Often its quite laid back. Guys are more interested in battling it out than just running away with the lead.

Having enough traction to run through the track at a decent pace is a must. Not having traction and fighting the car all day is no fun. I know because I've been there.

Good sized wing, tires that grip, a body that works, and a fairly decent setup on your suspension will get you there. Stick with diffs all around if thats what you have. No need for front oneways.

If there isn't enough nitro, I'll just run electric mod or GT10 let alone coming out to Corona.

So the question again.......... nitro?

Just ditched the 12v gel cell out of my starter box. Wow! What a relief! The box is much lighter and more powerful now with twin lipos. Testing out the car with a Nova motor, guess I'll have to peel the Picco sticker off the body. Hopefully I'll have it running right by Sunday.

Outdoor RC and the smell of nitro, that's what RC is all about.
