Oh I understand the class of racers that are there. I have just never ran stock there before and wondered if it was allowed. Just didn't want to have to change it up when I got there.

First time at OCRC and had an amazing experience. A big thank you to all the staff and racers for making me feel welcome and helping me out. An excellent racing facility. I'll definitely come back.
Cheers.

No, man, you'll be fine running it. Nobody will give you any grief. I just wanted you to know it wasn't going to be a big help.

Glad you enjoyed it, will be around for any club races this week?

I was thinking of experimenting with tire combo's on my T4.2 to see if I might be able to get a little more grip out there. Grip hasn't really been an issue per say, but I guess in the quest of always looking for an edge, I thought of maybe mixing tire combos.
I'm currently running Gold BarCodes on all four corners (sauced with LW Lubricating), and have some brand new Pink Taper Pins as well as brand new MC Suburbs that I was thinking of mounting.
Would it be weird to run Taper Pins in the front or rear, with Bar Codes on the opposite end of the truck? I know Suburbs and BarCodes are pretty similar in tread pattern.

Who's ready for a little practice/racing tonight? Store is stocked, track is looking good, Jake in the hobby store to take care of ya, and Nick on the mic tonight to talk smack, ramble on about stuff, have one way conversations over the PA, and get all kinds of fired up for some good racing!!!! Man I wish I was there already....oh wait.... I'll open the doors for you in a few!

Hey guys, pretty new to the hobby. Been to OCRC a few times for practice but haven't raced yet. Just curious, are most fast guys running mid motor or rear motor buggies? Not that it would make much difference to me or my son, we can barely drive straight (especially me), but just wondering.
