On a completely unrelated subject...first win at OC/RC and first fourteen lap runs! I'm jazzed.

Tonight was the best I've ever driven my truck, I think. This track forces you to get better and be more in control, it's really helping me improve my discipline and awareness.

Awesome. Great job.

Sorry pound it. You are right ALL was not a correct term. I would say most of the traveling SD racers run the JBRL.

How many electric 1/8's were there? I have 2 and was curious how they would do on that track.

Great run Kevin!

Thanks to OCRC and Jeremy for another great (and entertaining) night of racing at OCRC last night. Slash was a blast, and I guess I've officially graduated to Sportsman truck Guys sure are fast in the sportsman truck class...barely hanging on to the same lap. 4WD mod looks like a lot of fun as well...maybe I will keep my NIB Kyosho ZX-5 SP after all

Look forward to racing again next week

The 4WD vintage 80's mod (get it? 80's? mod? never mind...) class is awesome. I heart XX4... BTW, I randomly bought losixx4.com to put up an informational site. Manuals, setups, maybe an interview with Jukka if I can bug him in the pits...

BTW, MINI-Z racing tonight! Racing starts at 8pm, but drivers meeting at 7pm to get everyone wired up for the transponders. Should be a blast!

You needed to be up there with the sportsmen, Steve...you were crushing the hopes and dreams of all us "true" amateurs, with your sixteen lap runs :P

crushing hopes and dreams was certainly not my intent I've only been at OCRC (and trying to race off-road) for about 3 weeks, so I really didn't think I belong with the sportsman folks. But Jeremy convinced me that I was ready, and even though I immediately got put in my place in the sportsman class (I finished last in the main) I'm more concerned about making consistent and faster lap times than where I finished, and I believe I went .2 sec faster on the fastest lap just trying to keep up with the faster guys in sportsman. So it was a great learning experience for me, and I will certainly try to hang in there (sportsman) for as long as I can...

If you're looking for max performance, go with M3 Square Fuzzies with Bomb 1 inserts. Holeshots M3 would be next best bet with same inserts. Front, go with 8175 M3.

Yes, people sauce. BG2 works well

Doing well and having lots of fun. Doing a lot of Nitro 1/8th scale buggy still. Thought I would play around a little with a 2wd buggy at OCRC. Hope to be there this upcoming Sunday for racing. If I can get everything together. Been a long time I delt with any electric stuff.

Hope you are doing well, hope to see you around soon. Take care.

Is it limited entries? Not sure I will make it there this weekend and don't want to miss out on sign-ups.
