I actually have. Every purchase I've made I message the seller and let them know I've received item it's working as it should and that I've left them positive rating on itrader

Same here. In the comments section when leaving feedback, I type something along the lines of "Thanks for everything. Please leave feedback when you have a minute". Most people do, but over the years, there have been a whole lot that didn't. At this point, I don't care so much. I think my feedback is established enough that people will know what they're getting into. It's just more of a common courtesy thing.

I'm not sure they get that message. They get notice that you've left feedack, but not the included message.
