Does anybody know how to get in touch with Alan? I paid for lots E and H of this thread ( http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...arts-more.html) on September 7th and still haven't received anything. I've sent multiple pm's just asking for a tracking number starting on September 12th.

He first responded on the 16th saying he'd been out of town and had his wife mail it standard mail, but that he would get me the tracking info the next day. No tracking info was sent the following day. He did, however respond on the 17th saying that when his wife shipped some other stuff, she accidentally missed my package and it didn't get shipped. He offered to either refund the money or ship priority mail the following day. I need the parts, so I said go ahead and ship.

I've sent 4 pm's and an email since then and no communication and still have no package. He has great feedback, so I don't know what's going on. I think the thing that pisses me off the most though, is that he's been on RCTech everyday but can't respond to the pm's to let me know what's going on.

Either way, I just want what I paid for. This is going on three weeks now and I feel I've been patient enough. Had he responded to the pm's with a simple answer to my questions, I'd have never started this thread. I'm not the type of person to drag someone's name through the mud. When he didn't respond to my last pm, I went ahead and filed a Paypal claim. He hasn't responded to it either.

Send him a link to this thread....never mind, I'll do it. Maybe it will work better. He's an active member with a very good rating so this does seem odd

Same thing I thought, which is why I didn't hesitate to buy from him.

But.....why wait until a thread is created to reply if you have been on the site multiple times between communications???

A person loses all credibility when the ol' "my wife sent the package" or "I'm going to have my wife send it".

I'm not privy to what was said, but I cringed when I read that.

No refund as of yet. But there was time for him to get on the forums today?

Alan sent the refund, so everything is taken care of and this has been resolved.

i had a "my wife was supposed to drop it off at the post office" one time. i gave the package to my wife because she said she was going to the post office. she actually went to post net which is like a post office box/third party shipper type place and they said they wouldn't accept it or something. it cost me a day. i sent the buyer a PM explaining and dropped it off at the post office myself the next day.
