When somebody posts a bad trader wont they just make another account and pose as someone else

yeah it happens all the time around here

doesn't seem like anyone is really monitoring anything here

an admin could could ban certain IP addresses...but i don't think that is happening right now.

Best way to do business is to get their real name and phone number and talk to them by phone before you shell out any cash... The number of posts they have can be an indicator of how cautious you should be... if someone's got 500+ posts, and they have a clean name on the board, you're probably pretty safe... if they have less than a hundred, and it's a big ticket item, do your homework.

I've been very lucky, as well as cautious.... I've been doing trades on the boards for several years, and have never once been burned! (JINX!) Hope not!
