Default jace71 ripped me off!!!

I sent Jason my truck in December and last month he hit me with a chargeback on paypal claiming the truck wasn't as described never heard a word from him about it just got socked with the chargeback and too make matters worse even tho I gave paypal proof that it was shipped and delivered they closed the case and gave him back is money. AAAHHHHH!!!!!! some people make me sick. He knew what he was getting i had pictures and a good description in my ad.

Not sure if this what he is describing, but people can file a chargeback with their credit card's bank/company against PayPal. PayPal will fight it, but if they lose I am pretty sure they take it from you. I am not 100% sure on this, as I have dealt with plenty of claims, but have never dealt with a chargeback.

Correct. So if Jace put in a chargeback via his credit company, they are the deciding matter in terms of who is in the right or wrong..not paypal. If paypal feels the transaction was fine, they still cannot guarantee the cc company will feel that way. At that point, paypal is not going to take the hit, but instead will automatically get their money out of you.

Sorry to hear man. Time to put him on blast.. Social media is wonderful for these things

PP should have told you what was going on. If the CC company did a charge back then PP should let you know. Then you can go after the CC company with your proof. Typically when a CC company does a chargeback they go to the company that they gave money to. When that company doesn't respond then they do a chargeback. What happened is that you never gave notice of your proof, and honestly you didn't have a chance.

Paypal told me what was going on I gave paypal my shipping info and they sent the info too the credit card company. But apparently the info was not good enough for both parties.

Default Any contact with the buyer?

Have you said anything to the buyer about shipping your truck back then. That's what I'd do. I'd even offer to pay return shipping. If he says no to return shipping, then I'd contact the police etc.

I think that paypal should have also questioned the buyer about showing proof that he shipped my truck back too me. I asked Jason if he was going too ship it back but I haven't heard a word from him. I have bad luck with guys named Jason one other guy by that name ripped me off as well years ago who knows could be the same guy.

I would pm "dzyn00" he is the one that bought the SC10 off of jace, and ask him to send you pics of the sc10 so you can show paypal, also ask him if hes willing to contact paypal himself and let them know he bought a stolen rc (technically it is stolen since your item was refunded and never returned)..............

I quoted the ads so he can't delete them (and to make it easier on the mods so they don't have to pull out old copies).

You need to send these to Paypal to prove that he got the truck.
